Guest guest
CHAPTER 52 Where does true satisfaction lie? What are the boundaries of satisfaction? True satisfaction does not definitely lie in the fulfillment of your worldly desires. The limits to desires are endless, forgoing peace, contentment, and discrimination, for the more you receive, your desires will only bind you from reaching out to the territory of God.The human, today, wakes up each day with the pangs of hunger - not that of food, but the hunger of greed. The "wants" are taking a turn to addiction, making them your "needs", and these "desirable needs" have made you a discontented soul that only aspires to "receive more", "steal more" and "grab more". Your prayers to Me have become a mere "wish list", and upon not receiving, you blame Me to be uncharitable and only partial to your so-called competitors, that have become your reason of envy. You seem to know what is best for you, especially, when you see others possess these short-term pleasures. Even if you were to conquer all the worldly riches, would that make you desire any less? No! For the one that is richest in this world, has more attachments to give up, has more ego to destroy, has no rest and no peace, has more fears of every discomfort he may face, has no friends, has a family that only expects favors and demands from him, and lastly, but not the least, he does not know that God cannot be bought and cannot ever be valued. Let not "money" become your power, for when this power will fail, one day - and know that, that one day will come soon, then life to you will be only humiliation, and all that this power bought you will only become your weakness, without which, you will not be able to live. Let this evil of money not become your "time", your "judgment", and your "love"; instead, make love your only judgment and your only way to spend time. Know that when all in the world in unreal, then all that you conquer and possess in this world is bound to fade away and is destined to say its goodbye. Do not live to weep for that moment, but instead, prepare yourselves to successfully live that moment without the least regret or sorrow of attachment. All must go - including you in this life, then why run this race that starts on "want", and ends to start again on "wanting more"! Desire is the snake that will spread its venom slowly to the mind, and a poisoned mind will live its life only in the shadows of death - the death of the conscience, and one more life, yet lived, without God!- Divine Messages received and recorded by Mrs Seema M Dewan(Copyright reserved by the Author) 'Sai Divine Inspirations' is now on Facebook!Facebook link : http://www.facebook.com/saidivineinspirationsBlog link : http://saidivineinspirations.blogspot.com/
