Guest guest
Today There was no Darshan on this Thursday morning and Arathi was offered at 9:40. Later, at around 10:15 Bhagawan went for a round. Moving out of ashram, He proceeded towards the hospital side, before taking a turn at the petrol bunk on the way, to return to ashram through the Culvert-Gate at the western end. Entering inside, Bhagawan moved via the construction-work-in-progress-site. After a brief interaction with the engineer-in-charge overseeing the project, Bhagawan "drove" through booktrust-shopping centre road, blessing hundreds enroute, to retreat to Yajur Mandiram just after 10:30. In the evening, Bhagawan was ushered into the hall at 5 to the chants of Vedam. After a ten-minute round of Darshan, upon ascending verandah, Bhagawan interacted with 'seniors' from Delhi, that included Lt. Gen. (Retd.) ML Chibber, Former Diplomat MK Rasgotra, Former Air Chief Marshal OP Mehra, Former Education Secy, MK Kaw and State President of SSSSO, Jitendra Cheema, for five minutes before proceeding further to come on stage at 5:16, through the University Staff Block at the right of Ganesha. Students from Sri Sathya Sai Music College were ready awaiting Bhagawan's blessings for their Gratitude Programme. Vedam continued till 5:40 as Bhagawan continued to sit listening to the chants. In between, Bhagawan had a word with one of the Vedam boys asking for 'loud chanting' and what followed was a 'full-throat' chanting joined by the Primary School children as well, till Bhagawan nodded for the programme to commence. The Programme lasted for 55 minutes, at 6:35. Interactive Photograph session and presentation of clothes followed for the next fifteen minutes before Arathi was offered at 6:50. Moving towards the Interview Room, Bhagawan had some 'official' discussion for the next ten minutes, followed by another bout of interaction with former Vice Chancellors, Prof. Venkataraman and Mr. SV Giri, outiside the Interview Room, after which, Bhagawan left for Yajur Mandiram at 7:08. Primary School also joined for evening Darshan after having missed the morning session that went 'blank' without Darshan. Prasadam was distributed to all students and staff at the end of the programme.
