Guest guest
Posted at 19:49:21 IST on Mar 24, 2010 The Bhagavatha Saptaaham, the dialogue between a person under the sentence of death and a great saint who prepared him to meet the eventuality, is over. Howmuchever, one extols on the greater significance of the epical rendition, Prasanthi Nilayam holds the unique, ‘one of its kind’ significance, with the Avatar Himself in physical frame sitting and listening to the same, the exposition, on all the seven days. The erudite young scholar’s seven day’s exposition had been a treat for thousands of minds and souls in Prasanthi Nilayam. With a rare mix of stories from Bhagavatham with that of the stories of the present day Avatar, bringing in anecdotes from various other sources, the young “Maharaj†literally transported Prasanthi Nilayam into Brindavan, wherein The Lord Himself dwelled on the tongue of the “Maharaj†singing His glories, often bursting into melodious tunes bringing greater joy to thousands upon thousands. A unique thing about the Saptaaha Yajnam was the Maharaj's inimitable style of referring to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai as first person, quite often during his narrative, replacing Bhagawan Sri Krishna with this form of the Avatar, who walks the earth in present times. With his storyline go expounding into the rare gems hidden within the epic, with Bhagawan sitting onstage, Prasanthi Nilayam literally became, as the scholar often mentioned, the Kaliyuga Vaikuntam, the Vaikunta of present days, where Lord Maha Vishnu Himself dwells. Final scene has to be climactic, and so was on the final day of the Bhagavatha Saptaaham as well. Maharaj’s final session's exposition had the tale of Bhagawan Sri Krishna's emotional meeting with his childhood friend, Sudhama. The Maharaj gave a scintillating narration of the meeting of the two friends that, The Lord, the narrator and the entire assemblage were literally transported into the days of Dwapara, 'visualising' the nostalgic magic moments in the life of Bhagawan's ‘dearmost’ friend, Sudhama. Choked with emotion, Rituraj Ji’s eyes were moist with tears of love and so was the Lord in physical frame. …And the wavelength spread the entire Sai Kulwant airing emotion bringing in a unique feeling of greater peace and love. Raja Parikshit's final moments, wherein he liberates his soul to attain "Moksha" (liberation), was the final episode that brought the curtain down for the Saptaaham. Listening to the epical exposition for seven continuous days, finally the king leaves his mortal coil, voluntarily releasing the 'life force' through the "Sahasrara Chakra", the 7th energy channel. In an emotional final narration, the Maharaj offered the entire seven days’ Saptaaha Yajna at the Feet of “Divine Parents†of Bhagawan, Mother Easwaramma and Pedda Vankamma Raju, whom he credited to bring The Divine Form into physical frame. Opining his simplicity and greater good fortune, the Maharaj went on further telling that, the preceptor of the Devas, Brihaspathi himself would have come at Bhagawan’s command, but Bhagawan has chosen him, bestowing upon him the opportunity, a unique opportunity that redeems many a birth. Offering “Koti Koti Pranamsâ€, millions upon millions of salutations, the Maharaj prayed for Divine Forgiveness for any errors that he would have committed, most inadvertently. Adding charm to the Bhagavatha stories, there were musical delights as well. Grateful Alumni working with various institutions under Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, presented thematic musical offerings for five consecutive days, as if endorsing that Music and Divinity are inseparable! Bhagavatha was narrated…and thousands upon thousands have heard the same… Bhagawan’s sumptuous presence was very much there for thousands to steal a glance and more…the stories and melodious tunes would ring in many ears…feeling them nostalgic of the Divine stories of the Lord! Kasturi ji hailed Bhagavatha to be a Ganga, emerging from The Lord, and merging in Him, after a long journey through geographic descriptions, historic annals, philosophic disquisitions, hagiological narratives, epistemologic enquiries, fertilizing the vast valleys of human minds with the pure pellucid waters of Krishna stories. Prasanthi witnessed this with the Eternal Witness sitting and watching over!!! sourced: http://www.sssbpt.org/Pages/Prasanthi_Nilayam/bhagavathasaptahamconclusion.html Aum Sri Sai Ram Visit SAIRAM website for the daily latest updates.
