Guest guest
CHAPTER 77 It is only when man faces the calamity of sorrow, does he momentarily realize his helplessness and his false strength of control. It is then that he learns that without the constant companionship of the Supreme, he will, one day, be consumed, when the earth under him opens, and the ground under his feet will fail to let him stand with dignity and self respect. The false sense of pride that carries you for a part of your life, will, one day, collide against the wall of humility - humility that will show you that pride is the friend of pain - it lives to hurt others, it feeds on your pain of guilt, and the only love pride knows is its own self. Yes! A friend that promises the gift of loneliness and depicts the loyalty of a traitor!Just like flying in an airplane, does not, My dears, make you a bird - your true nature, is to stay at ground level, and remember, that with every "take off", there will be a landing. You can soar in the heights of pride, today, but know, that however high you may aspire to climb, you have just that much height to fall off from. The higher you reach, the bigger the fall, O child of God! The shadow of sorrow begins to follow you when you begin to move away from the self, following the lures of false pleasures that make you happy now, only to make you weep in every tomorrow. The strength to be the owner, is in actuality, one's weakness of greed. It is the failing combination of pride and greed that will, one day, leave you to face the poverty of goodness. Pride is lazy and will deny you of work and service, allowing each minute to pass by, without any true gain. The eyes that have learnt only to look up with pride will never know the value of selfless work, for all service lies only at My feet, O dears. The true meaning of "greatness" will never be known until you are able to give all that you have with the joyful knowledge of being one with all. That is true greatness, and the greatness of pride is only the biggest way to demean your nature and the spirit that lives within. You can only threaten those who are of weaker minds, for those who recognize My strength will not even blink at the crack of your whip. You may believe to be the king - the kingdom of which lies in darkness, where the blind that praise you have become your subjects and where the ministers, too, have been blindfolded against justice and righteousness - the army that wears a shining armor, yet fears the sound of battle and the use of a real weapon. Yes! It is simply the kingdom of doom! The king that wears the crown of ignorance sits on the throne of selfishness and locks the treasury that is totally empty! Be, My dears, what you truly are - the ruler of service, the ruler that lives amongst his subjects, the ruler that conquers all for love, the ruler that fights until the wrong is undone, the ruler that leads the way with the blood of his sacrifice, and the ruler that wears the crown to bear the sufferings of others' pains, worries and inhibitions. To be Me, O child, you have to give up being the "I". To be Me, you must let the path stay clean. Let not the dirt of pride and greed get under the feet of the one that has vowed to walk the road that reaches Me. Clean the mist that fogs your reflection, and allow the mirror to remain clean so that the truth can never be washed and blocked, ever again, and the truth of your identity will always stay clear and unshaken.- Divine Messages received and recorded by Mrs Seema M Dewan(Copyright reserved by the Author) SAI DIVINE INSPIRATIONShttp://www.facebook.com/saidivineinspirationshttp://saidivineinspirations.blogspot.com/AHAM BRAHMASMI "I am not this body, I am not this mind, I am Atma."
