CHAPTER 82

The state of contentment can only be attained when the stream of desires have been controlled, and when you have accepted life with its offerings as My blessings that have been bestowed upon you. True wealth lies in the hands that remain empty of all worldly possessions, for the one that needs none is the richest of all. The one whose eyes rest only on the feet of the Lord has found the treasure that will never deplete and will

not perish, even after the death of the body. Peace, O dears, will walk

with the one that will leave behind his name and fame and will walk ahead with lesser worldly needs, carrying with him only the glow - the glow of the glorious Divine. The radiance of true happiness will emit from the one that has, forever, sacrificed the smile of his selfish "wants" and has made his smile only to express and fulfill the needs of those in utter despair. Each task serves with its own importance, and you must stay content by spending each moment in completing your given duty and serving the needs to the best of your ability. The hand that works with no desire to rest, the heart that feels no pain except those of others, the eyes that cry the tears of sympathy and compassion, is that soul that has taken this body to reveal Godhood in each and every one of you. Look around you in your day to day life, and you will see and hear all around you the cries of anguish, you will feel the desperate hands that will reach out for the strength of your grip, you will sense the panic, My sweet, in these souls that have drowned themselves in the impure waters of sinful desires. Help them, O wise one, and let them find the bliss of contentment through your sadhana of renouncing all that brings with it the pain of worries, attachments, separation and envy. Know that the limitations of desires is endless and is like the ocean that will never dry! The one hand of the Lord can save thousands that are lost - be that hand, O child, and realize the strength of your own nature by upholding them, leading them with divine values and by showing them that selfless love lives - lives in us and can win over any selfish possessiveness! Be simple in the way you live, you think, you speak and act. Both the body of the king and the beggar will leave nothing but ash - the castle, too, will, one day, be only a ruin - so collect the treasures of love and peace and be the ruler of all worlds. The doctor in a mental asylum is there to treat the insane and will not respond with impatience or anger to the patient that has lost his peace. The patient will never improve his mental health, if the doctor, too, begins to scream and abuse. You, too, My dears, have to hold your peace and be the

cure of discontentment that has spread like wild fire - be the rain that quenches the thirst of the dry earth, and sustain life with your beauty of being in constant bliss.Remember, the needs are sparse and the wants are many. You are the owner of all that stands in this world, then why must you feel the need to grab and steal! The riches that you run to conquer, today, will only hold you in its captivity. The peace that you seek in the cushions of comfort will only let you sleep in restlessness and in the fears of hopeless dependence. Know that however stubbornly you may fight with the

laws of nature, the will of the Lord will only prevail. So do not fight

and resist the circumstances you face, but fight instead with your own weaknesses to be able to accept and be unaffected by the threats of your

own past misdoings. Release, My dears, your complexities and attain the

simplicity of peace!- Divine Messages
