Lord Hanumanji, a deity praised and worshiped for His devotion and service to Lord Rama was seated in a temple in Shirdi from the times when Sai Baba moved and sported in embodied form. visited Shirdi stayed in this temple. Baba got this temple repaired from the Dakshina He received from devotees. It is said that during Chavdi Procession, Sai Baba used to halt at Lord Hanumanji temple and waved His hands showing some strange gestures and stood quietly there for few minutes. The Palki Procession today also stops here and Chopdars do Lalkari. It is also used by ardent devotees who wish to do Naam Jap.
