Divinity is described in the Vedas as “Sahasra seersha purushaha sahasrakshah sahasra paad†(The Cosmic Being has thousands of heads, eyes and feet.). The significance of this statement is that one Divinity expresses itself through millions of individuals and therefore all are Divine. We tend to forget this great truth and consider each individual as separate from one another.
