Lord Shiva considered as an embodiment of Pancha Bhoothas, the five basic elements of nature, Aakasa (sky/space), Vayu (air), Prithvi (earth), Jala (water) and Agni (fire). He had manifested at the following places which are regarded as the Pancha Bhootha Shiva Kshetras, most revered places for the worship of Lord Shiva.
