Baba's stay in California

California=85

From Anjana & Ravi's place in Portland (which Anjana calls U.S.

Samratchana), Baba, chauffeured by Ravi and Anjana, came to the

residence of Bala Sharma in Castro Valley, CA at 12.30 AM on 14th

Friday. Together we all went to the residence of Srinivasa Rao =96a

devotee , and a few other devotees' homes, the next day. Weplayed

Baba's CDs while He answered questions raised by devotees. After

lunch we all (Anjana, Ravi, Bala, his wife Satya, Sudha, Kalyan and

myself) sat around Baba and had a a wonderful fun time. In the

evening Baba met all the devotees who had come to Bala's place.

Again that night after dinner we all had a great time together. Next

day, we visited the residence of Uma Shankar Dixit, priest of the

Livermore temple. This was a Satsang followed by Q & A session.

Sunday at about noon, we all started for the 3 famous temples around

this area =96 Concord Temple, Sunnyvale Temple and LivermoreTemple.

Baba visited them all and gave a speech at the Livermore temple

concomitant to the Ramnavami festival.

Sunday night, Baba, Anjana and Ravi left for LA to the residence of

Raji and Punni. (Raji please include your experience here.) From LA

He visted the residence of Aruna and Ganesh at San Diego on the 19th.

(Aruna please put in your experience here.) On the 21st morning, He

visited my residence in Hayward, CA. Jayanthi and her family, Raji,

Bala & family had also come home. We had lunch together and spent

our time with Baba. In the evening Baba, attended the Satsang at our

apartment Rec hall where an eager crowd was waiting for Him as this

was His last day in the U.S. The Satsang went off very well, thanks

to all the help offered by Raji, Anjana and Jayanthi's Mom. After

the Satsang many devotees came home and stayed with Baba for some

time. Outstanding was the devotion shown towards Baba by an American

lady named Kalyani. The next day 22nd, we all went together to send

off our Beloved Baba at the SFO airport. We reached there an hour

early and so we were all (Ravi, Anjana, Bala, Aruna, Ganesh, Raji,

Punni,Jayanthi & her family, my roommates and myself) able to spend

time with Him. Time came for His departure and we all bade

Him a tearful farewell. On the whole we all had a really, really

wonderful time with Him more exciting than even our wildestdreams

of being with Him.

We should all visit our U.S. Samratchana some time together
