MY FIRST MEETING WITH BABA

On The Sunday 7th of May 2000, Me and my family after visiting a Ganesha

Temple in Pudu in Kuala Lumpur, decided to go to KLCC, since my younger son

Carthick insisted to go to the playground. It started to rain and my wife

suggested why don't we go to Sri Mahamariamman temple in Jalan Bandar. We

arrive at the temple and perform our prayers and I realise that there is

some work going on to welcome someone, I thought some dignitaries is

arriving. In the temple I met an aquaintance and gave me a brief

introduction of Baba, and he will be expected any time then. (It is around

7.30pm to 8.00 p.m.) I usually have a very critical stand if any holyman

and their claims. However I stayed for the discourse to be given by Baba. I

stayed and listed to the discouse. I am impressed by the clarity of

explanation on spiritual matter. What make me moved is his clarity,

simplicity and humourus discouse on tackling a very complex issue. I could

relate his lecture with the personal life that I am going through. I have

this thoughts that this is a very- very cruel world. By being kind to the

world I end end being a very big looser materialistically. In the lecture

Baba have explained that all this is Karma. I am personally had a very well

paid job and and satisfied materialistically, and later I was sent to head

a Company which the the original shareholder did not support and there is a

change in the sharholding. I came out and started business and really

struggling to make my ends meet. At the end of the discourse I realized

that whatever happened is the effect of Karma and the difficulties that I

am facing is Maya. I feel a bit peaceful and now I rest all the problem to

the God. I will keep on doing whatever I can do and let God decide the

result. I also went to get the blessing of Baba at the end of discouse. I

told him I started a business and currently struggling. He asked me what

business. I told him trading. Baba asked me what produvt I told him

equipment supplies and medical planning. I am a bit stunned when asked

asked question then because I felt that such a noble personality as Baba is

speaking to a very -small peron like me in a very friendly manner. At the

end of the brief encounter Baba asked my name and he said he will bless me.

I bought a few books and also went to Samratchana website and this e-group

was mailed to me by the acquaintance that I met in the temple and the first

perso who introduce to the Baba's world. 7th May 2000 will always be my

unforgettable event in my life and I consider myself to be fortunate on

meeting up Baba.
