Guest guest
WHERE GOD AIN'T!!!! He was just a little lad, and on the week's first day. He was wandering home from Sunday School, and dawdling on the way. He scuffed his shoes into the grass; he found a caterpillar; He found a fluffy milkweed pod, and blew out all the " filler. " A bird's nest in a tree o'er head so wisely placed on high, Was just another wonder that caught his eager eye. A neighbor watched his zigzag course, and hailed him from the lawn; Asked him where he'd been that day, and what was going on. " I've been to Bible school, " he said, and turned a piece of sod. He picked up a wiggly worm and said, " I've learned a lot of God. " " A very fine way, " the neighbor said, " for a boy to spend his time. " " If you'll tell me where God is, I'll give you a brand new dime. " Quick as a flash his answer came! Nor were his accents faint. " I'll give you a dollar, Mister, if you'll tell me where God ain't! " -----author unknown
Guest guest
Shankaram Siva Shankaram !! If only we could retain all that we learnt when young ! If only we could practise all that we absorbed as children! If only we could love With the abandon of a child! If only we could give up Our masks in trade for innocence!! Then we would realize that what we are searching for, is within; that there is nowhere where God is not And that we are only fooling ourselves By indulging in haste actions We would never dream of doing when He is around. Let's take this wonderful opportunity to ask ourselves sincerely : If we were very sure that God is around Would we do all those things that we are doing now? And if we have to stand exposed before this question So what? Atleast we have honoured The only thing worthy of honour And that is the fact that we understand God's Love. The only way to prove our love for God Is to feel His presence throughout life Not in our talking of or dreaming of or praying to Him But in living Life the way we would live If He were with us Physically all through. Love NCS I would like to initiate a discussion, please. Who said God is no where? God is now here, in the form of Baba. SO WHAT ARE WE DOING ABOUT IT? SO HOW HAVE WE CHANGED OR HOW DO WE PROPOSE TO CHANGE? WHAT IS IT THAT WE MUST BE DOING? WHAT IS IT THAT WE MUST REFRAIN FROM? PS : Badri Anna, thank you for your message 'Where God ain't' that inspired me to write this!
