New Virus Alert Please READ

 

 

There is a new version of the Love Virus that came out late last night,

please read the following carefully!

PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL THAT YOU KNOW OR ARE EXPECTING ANY ATTACHMENTS

THAT ARE SENT THROUGH, ANY THAT YOU ARE NOT EXPECTING DO NOT OPEN!!!

VIRUS CHARACTERISTICS ARE AS FOLLOWS

The new version appears with a subject line beginning with " FW: " and

has an attached file, the rest of the file name is likely to change

every time the file is sent.

The file has the capability of resending itself to every name in the

address book, rename files on the hard drive and ultimately render the

PC useless.

This Virus can destroy a machine in 20 seconds.

 

DO NOT OPEN ANY EMAILS WITH " FW: " IN THE SUBJECT LINE UNTIL CHECKED BY

I.T.

 

Also please disable Preview pane in outlook, this can be done by

clicking on view and simply ensuring that 'preview Pane' is not

selected.
