All Samratchana activities are performed in a very disciplined manner. In fact, everything is done with affection.Penance consists of these feelings. That is Yogam.Yoga is not sitting in solitude and holding breath. It is doing every single task to perfection. If you sweep, sweep such that none can sweep cleaner than you do. if you prepare coffee, make such that none can prepare coffee tastier than you do. If you do everything to the Best of your Ability, Aiming for perfection, then that is Yogam. That is Meditation. Meditation is doing everything with single minded focus. You need not sit and think for God. If you attain perfection in everything that you do., thoughts of God automatically happen. Concentration on little things leads to concentration on major things too.

Remembering 16*16=196 is not possible at the first attempt.If you learn your 1s,2s,3s.......tables properly, and then come to 16s table. and if you have given it full focus.The moment someone says 16*16, '196' will flash immediately. LIFE IS PRACTICE!!!!!!!! If you want to realise God, learn to focus on every single thing. Learn to do even petty things perfectly. === BABA

WATER ON A LOTUS LEAF - fm Baba's speech.

In Palani, Muruga is in the form as an ascetic, with just a loin cloth around Him.After 6.00 P.m in the evening, he is adorned with kingly clothes and jewels with a crown on his head. In Thiruthani, Muruga poses as a house holder with Valli as his consort. In Thiruchendur, He is dressed in war costume and shown fighting & conquering with Demon- Surpadman. like a Kshatriyta prince.In general parlance, if someone is fighting, he is taken to be a miscreant.

So, is Muruga, the hermit of Palani or the householder of thiruthani,??of Is he the recluse of the morning session of Palani or the king of the evening session??? or is he a Sadhu or a miscreant??This the truth behind the wise being called Skanda, more familiar as Muruga,the son of Shiva & parvathi. He will lead his life in his own way, without getting caught in worldly standards. It will look as if he is a part of everything. He will be within the world and yet without it. He will be like the water on a lotus leaf. Observe how the water rolls off the lotus leaf without wetting it.So also, the world will not be able to affect the wise man.

It is only Skanda's supreme wisdom that has propelled him to the superior position he is today.He has been able to emerge as the guru of none other than Lord Shiva himself, only because of his wise bearing. LEARN TO BE LIKE THE WATER ON THE LOTUS LEAF. THEN YOU CAN ALSO ACHIEVE THE GLORY OF SKANDA ====== BABA

KANDAR SHASHTI FESTIVAL: kandar shashti was celebrated very grandly at Samratchana for all the 6 days after Deepawali ( Nov/26/000 with Maha Chandi Homams for all the 6 days, with Fasting.Kandar shashti 6 days , represents the 6 days of war b/w Lord Muruga with the demon _Surapadman ( & His brothers). Muruga is also called Arumugam- 6 faces.Sa,ra,va,na,ba,va -Muruga orSkanda conquered Sura padman's pride, anger & prestige & made his body as the peacock & made it as His vehicle & His head as the Hen & made it as His Flag. Hence the significance of the peacock & the hen flag ,with Lord Muruga. The Lord elevated a person as cruel as the demon to a higher status & made Him always close to him. A Maha Sathru Samhara Yagam was conducted at Samratchana. on the 6th day. with various cultural programmes.
