Changes to School and Magazine site!!!

Hello all,

I have attached a word document containing the changes that have

been suggested so far for our sites(mine inclusive). I request people, who

can, to open the siteand the document and go thro the suggestions

simultaneously and validate if need be and send the corrected changes list

again to . This way we can come up with a draft of final changes. And

i request this to be done asap.

Both our magazine and school websites are developing at rapid speed.

Venky, Arthi, Karuna and all others working on it need to be

commended.

It would be very difficult for just two or three people to fix the

whole list of errors.

Venky and others, would it help if we not only found bugs, but also

provided solutions in some cases such as, rewording a particular

sentence or phrase? For instance, 'English taught as the first

language, is compulsory for all classes...' should be, 'English...'

Or, would it help if each of us volunteered to review a particular

section, say 'Faculties', and provided you both the feedback and

revised content?

This would help you focus more on the functionality and 'look and

feel' aspects of our site.

 

Please let us know.

Hope u r doing fine. Well we are fine and things are slowly moving. Still

waiting for a good opening....

 

Anyways, thanx for the mail and the wishes. Well we have not done anything big

time or so... Well whenever I have time, I do the needful. That's all. And it is

Arti who is full time into it. So pls give the credit to her.

 

Well Praveena, I really appreciate the fact that u would like to help us. Well

once the new edition of the school script is ready, we would be checking and

then hosting the same. And then u could help us correcting. But there is only

one problem in this. We have to show the corrected version to the school people

and then make the changes on the site. I guess this is ok. This is exactly what

I mentioned to Chapan the other day. I do agree with u as the English is quite

bad in the site and not functional. And moreover, we thought the content

provided was good enough to be hosted. We will not make any of those mistakes

again.

 

Well either way u have mentioned is a good effort and great help to us here. But

again, things here have to route through the right channels. Hope this is

fine....
