Guest guest
hi guys just thought i will stray a bit. How you view your role in an organization has a lot of influence on how well you perform. Too often we hear comments such as " I'm just a junior-level technician " or " I've only been here a year - they haven't given me any big projects yet. " Don't demean yourself or your job. If you think you're " just " anything, not only are you degrading yourself, you're also inviting others to do so. Your job must be important to somebody in the organization - they designed it, hired you, and presumably pay you for doing it. You maybe " just " a junior-level technician, but if it's your job to installnew software, write documentation, or troubleshoot line problems, somebody - maybe a lot of people, are depending on you to do it well. Be proud of your job. All successful people started their career as novices and brightened their own star, step by step. The person who is destined to succeed treats each rung on the ladder with great respect. They make it a point to understand why their job is important, who depends on them and what they are expected to do. Be like the desert rose - its beauty stands out in the harshest ofconditions. Do your job so well that you stand out in yourenvironment. Consider your job as an opportunity to bloom so well that you have to be noticed.
