Dear Brothers and Sisters of

Samratchana Family.

Ganesh has shared with us a wonderful piece of information

on Breaking Coconuts.....

Thanks to saranam.com and Thanks to Ganesh.

Now let us evaluate the contemporary reasons for

Breaking Coconuts:

As a contract with the God -

If I get good marks - I will break " N " number of Coconuts.

or

If someone is not well - if he recovers then I will break

" N " number of Coconuts.

Similar other reasons..

In many Ganesh temples - Nowadays - they have kept a

separate tank built for breaking coconuts.

Still people have the pleasure of breaking the same on the Road.

Why on the Road ?

Why Break it - in the way - that it gets shattered

gets dirty and few children have to fight for the dirty coconuts

?

We the devotees of Baba :

Can we Pray to Baba - if this is Okay - & Correct.

Can we give the fruit to the Poor for his meal

The Coconut in the Full form - I mean.

I request -Mr.Suresh Krishna - during his next darshan with Baba

can request Baba to enlighten us on the significance

of this ritual.

Thanks to all for the Participation on this topic.

I request this egroup members to come up with similar topics

or even better topics ( Higher Planes :-) )

My text topic is

The Untold Story:

" THE HEAD OF LORD GANESH "

We all

know that Lord Shiva cut the head of the

Child Ganesh and later he replaced

the Child's head with an Elephants head .....

We all know - the story behing the same......

Now - the untold story is :

What happened to the Child's head ?

Who took that ?

What did He do with that ?

Hope the egroup is curious to know this story !!!!

By the grace of Baba,

Expecting, More interesting moments ahead......

Dear Sams,

I could find out this piece of information when I was

browsing

www.saranam.com .

This is a bit long explanation for breaking

of coconuts to the lord.

Regards,

Ganesh
