When Rama(Paramathma)and sita (jeevathma)were in thavam at Aranyam.At that stage jeevathma was caught by maricha(maya)resulting in jeevathma parting Paramathma. Jeevathma having left Paramathma lands in this world(Asoka vanam).It was only Guru in the form of Anjeneya find jeevathma struggling in absence,craving for Paramathma. It was Guru's work to bring Paramathma to retrieve jeevathma.In this process of retreval paramatma has to destroy all the worldly obstructions to capture back jeevathma.
