Guest guest
Hello friends, Here is a story that Sri Ramakrishna Parahamsa told his disciples .There was a sadhu ( saint ) who lived in a town . He used to beg in the streets and lived with the thoughts of God .One day when he was walking he saw the king's men severely hitting a thief , tying him to a roadside post .The thief had robbed something and the king's men were giving him punishment . On seeing the pain of the thief the sadhu's heart melted in love .He went to the king's men and asked them why they were so harshly beating the thief and asked them to forgive him .The king's men got irritated on this .They untied the thief , tied the sadhu to the post and started beating him heavily ..The treatment was very severe to the poor sadhu that he became unconscious .The king's men left the place . The news reached the fellow- sadhus and they came to the place immediately ,took the unconscious saint to the ashram .There they gave him treatment . After a long time the sadhu was slowly regaining his consciousness .One of the fellow- sadhus was pouring milk into the mouth of the saint . To check whether he came to full consciousness the fellow-sadhu asked , " Swami do you see who is pouring milk into your mouth " .For this the saint replied " The same person who hit me is pouring milk into my mouth " .This is a beautiful vision of the saint .His heart was so moulded that he was able to perceive God in everyone .And it is true that it is the same God who puts us in troubles and it is He who stretches His loving hands later . Baba also tells " EVERYTHING IS GOD .EVERYONE IS GOD " . Although this state of mind is difficult to be attained , we have to practice it to the least possible extent atleast . This will give us greatest peace and greatest bliss in due course . A .SELVAKUMAR
