Dear ALL,

With respect to the recent hot topic, I had an initial thought of

making another list ( 'samaratchana_humour' or if someone could think

of a better name so be it) where all the 'wanna-be' members voting

pro to this jokes list could be compiled. ( R.Murali initially thought

of having multiple branches of SAM , does this sound like

a need of the hour? let me know ) Ofcourse,we have no dearth of jokes

once we get into SAM and Babs would crack up everybody. Because of

this list being HUGE (190 and growing!, well I made a rain check and

33% chose to have " No mails " sent to their IDs, hope they are logging

here and reading stuffs going on) and there might be partisan

groups on advocating this. Arriving at consensus might or might not

be feasible. So THIS IS MY OPINION (ie, having another list), will

decide it based on people seconding this (atleast 10, mmm.. maybe 5!

)

I AM ALL FOR IT THOUGH!!!

We could make this " AN EXCLUSIVE " spiritual discussion list.

Pitch in folks.

well.. the entire purpose of "shivashnkarbaba_spiritual..." groups to be suspended is that we wanted to avoid duplicated mails and stuf.. and with the threat of becoming paid in the near future.. i wud suggest we stick to what we have.. the most we can ask for from the "joke senders" is

1. limit the size of the mail (not above 50k)

2. let the subject line contain "joke" or something like that , reading which anybody who wants (or doesnt want) can decide what to do.

and in general, due to the increase in the occurence of viruses in attachments...i request all to abstain from sending attachments of any sort, unless it is of some importance... u may think ur attachment doesnt have a virus.. but the viruses are smarter than u think...esp ppl using email clients like outlook or outlook express....a case in point is the sircam virus!!!!

Chapan, Here we are not talking of duplicity, cuz of clear distinction

between apples and oranges. If everybody is OK with picking those

from the same basket, that's fine by me.

 

Enjoy the services as long as they are available. Do we need to

curtail right now, for what 'might' happen in the future?
