How does one play audio files carrying speeches of baba ? Downloading files

of sizes exceeding one MB can be a long wait for those with dial-up

connections. Does Windows media player also support the file types that are

used here to upload ?

Let us say the speech file is at

http://symonds.net/~/25-3-2001afternoon.ra

Create a file called temp.ram in somewhere in your C: drive with

http://symonds.net/~/25-3-2001afternoon.ra

as the contents and save it. Double click on temp.ram from the

explorer and the audio will stream.

Badri,

If create a " .ram " file and upload it, people need wait for the file

to download.

Thanks.

i dont think all this is necessary..

we use a protocol which should stream real

audio/video...infact i was told it would support

streaming av of any type...for eg(real or windows

media or quick time)

but we chose real bcoz it was the smallest...

all u have to do stream the aduio is...

use rtsp instead of http in the link....

it should work very well...
