Guest guest Posted August 28, 2001 Report Share Posted August 28, 2001 Baba short story GURU MAHIMA Once upon a time a guru was living with his diciples.One day one of his diciple died.Guru was furious he approached Lord brahma and thundered'oh brahma deva how can you terminate my diciple life?Brahma replied 'iam the creator of this universe and not the destroyer hence iam not resposible for this. Furiated Guru approached Lord vishnu who naturally told, my work is only protection you have to approach siva for this.But Lord siva replied to the guru,'i may be the head of the department you have to approach my supervisor Yama dharma raja who can only answer your querry. Taking the diciple body guru went to yama loka.Yama knowing Guru's intention rushed to meet him. Guru placed the body at the entrance and threatened Yama'how can you take away my diciple life without my knowledge? Yama called for chitra gupta and asked him for details, chitra gupta answered'According to this diciple fate the guru himself shall bring the body to yamaloka with his powers of his penance will reach yamaloka and redeem the life of his dead diciple. Hence those who place their total faith in a true and eternal guru,are protected from death,as there exist no power superior to that of a guru.This truth should be comprehended by all.
