Guest guest
shankaram shiva shankaram: Thousands of innocent lives were lost on this weeks tragedy in USA. That includes at least some hundreds of Indians... One such individual who lost his life..He worked for a partner company to my organization. ravikumar Hi Kit, Thank you for your thoughts. Horribly, it is true. Below is the message I was faced with sending yesterday - one I had hoped never to have to send. What a senseless waste that people can hate other people they don't even know so much. We appreciate the support from you and all our friends at JDE. We are also collecting concerned notes, memories, etc. and compiling a scrapbook for Prasanna, Vamsi's wife. I'll make sure your note is there as well so that she can see just how many people cared for Vamsi. He was a uniquely talented and inspirational man. It is fine to communicate this tragedy to others at JDE. In case anyone at JDE knew him well and would like to contribute to the fund we have started for Prasanna, I have attached that info as well. Thanks again. Regards, Marc Bocciardi CEO DTI > (510) 353-3700 > It is with great sadness that I must inform you that one of our own, Vamsi, was on the Boston-LA flight which crashed into the World Trade Center this morning. We offer our utmost condolences to Vamsi's wife Prasanna, his family, and all those that knew him.We are all facing shock, grief and disbelief right now. I wanted to make you aware of individual counseling available if you or your family would like some at this time. Details for both Kaiser and Blue Cross are found at the end of this message. In addition, we have arranged for a grief counselor to be at DTI's Fremont office this afternoon, starting shortly after noon. All of us who came in contact with Vamsi know what a special person he was and how he brightened the lives of everyone around him. We'll miss him and we'll never forget him. Marc Many fellow employees of Vamsi have expressed the desire to offer some financial help to Vamsi's wife, Kalahasthi Prasanna. Your kindness and thoughtfulness will surely be appreciated by her. We have set up what is called a Benevolent Account for the benefit of her. She is not yet aware of this account, but I will hopefully be talking to her tomorrow. This account will remain open until November 1, 2001. > If you are interested in giving a monetary gift to benefit her: Please send your checks payable to " FBO Kalahasthi Prasanna " and put the account number: " 388-033853-4 " in the Memo section (or payee section if there's room.) It is important that you put the account number for it get properly credited. You may send the check to my attention at the DTI corporate offices so that I can provide Kalahasthi a list of those she may wish to thank directly.: > > Attn: Janet Bocciardi > DTI > 47001 Benicia St. > Fremont, CA 94538. You may also send your check directly to Washington Mutual, however she and I will not know the donor.
