Guest guest
SSS! All, First thanks to all the hosts (Kiran/Monica, Sree/Praveena and Srinivas) (hostesses - especially for the great food and meticulous planning... Monica/Jwala and Praveena). With details of where to go, who should stay in whose house - a good timetable as a whole, definitely a key for the rest of trip organisers to follow. Let me tell you, it was a huge crowd! With 2 minivans and 3 cars filled with people of all age groups, (making Baba the youngest - since Anjana made her two month old girl an elder sister to Baba) it was full of fun and frolic. The drivers had most fun driving as well as missing the vehicle leading ahead. 3 days and 3 nights whizzed past in tachionic speed, ofcourse, there is always dearth of time when it comes to spending with Baba. I think Baba really had a nice time because for ALL of us it was fabulous (literally every person in the group got their QUOTA). There were contentions, as you know, on who should drive Baba from Point A to B. I was lucky enough to drive Baba as well. Baba might have to take a dip in the Ganges(if there is water still!) for getting rid of the Nivea cream (abhishekam-ed) on HIM by 4 of us at Bala's place. I literally saw Baba sleep only for few hours, as He is the last to go to bed and first to wake up. Baba spoke at length to all at the Centennial Hall, Hayward, CA, as well as at individual houses. He gave some astonishing information which Chapan had shared in his latest mail. 29th Monday: Baba did Nithya Homam at Balakrishna Sarma's place and Q & A session followed, took some rest and then we departed around 4pm to Golden Gate Bridge. The drive was pretty neat, quite contrasting to the peak hour traffic. We walked for a short distance on the bridge (snaps to follow) and drove to Crooked Street, China town and headed back to Praveena's place. Baba had some visitors who were brought by a couple of first-timers who came to Centennial hall. I left unwillingly around 9pm to catch my flight. I will try to get the snaps developed soon and post it. PS: Any left outs? - pl. fill in Regards, Ganesh S/..
