Guest guest
Dear All, I have been reading all your outbursts in response to the article in Kumudam. These are times where sensationalism rakes in money. People will publish whatever material that catches the public's attention. " Everything will Pass " . The same people who condemned Baba in the past have become ardent devotees. It's just a matter of time. I don't think it is even worthwhile to react to sleazy articles. What is the difference between us and them? It is a vicious cycle, once we get into the mode of reacting to these kinds of things, where do we stop? Baba's reputation cannot be tarnished by perverse journalism. I personally think these are Baba's games to bring out the truth. Baba has never reacted to any aspersions cast on him. Being his children we should also follow in his footsteps. These are just my personal views on the matter. Love Monica
Guest guest
Hi, I agree with Monica 100% . I noticed the excellant "coincidence" of Hemamalini's mail detailing Baba's message on MAHAANS. It was timely and the content was very relevant to kumudam. If need be, please read that kumudam article again - that statement is attributed to someone close to Rajni. So why give undue weightage to some one whom kumudam did not even feel fit to give a name to! Our actions and reactions also contribute to the name of the great movement we belong to. So, my humble request would be to behave in a responsible fashion and not react to every utterance by magazines. Guest guest
Hi to everyone! shankaram shiva shankaram When Ranji announced his movie plan, Junior Vikatan published an article that the movie is settle score with the growing Vijayakanth fans! On the next issue, the magazine published a clarification letter direct from Rajnikanth not to distract the fans with wrong information.. (www.vikatan.com) But there was no apology directly by the magazine. May be kumudam too wanted to sensationalize the movie plan & would have created a statement as someone close to Rajni. These are all the ways magazine reporters show their ignorance and/or settle past issues... thanks ravikumar - Raghavan Murali Wednesday, February 27, 2002 12:45 PM Re: Journalism Hi, I agree with Monica 100% . Guest guest
I was also contemplating on the similar lines written by Monica. There have been many incidents in the past, though all cant be drawn with parallelism, that SAM/Baba had undergone. How would Baba act on criticisms or expect us to react on such matters? Though I felt for sure that He would not expect us to pelt those pelting us because of His LEVEL of thinking, but we as normal humans tend to give way to such instantenous reactions. On the other hand, as Vidya mentioned it wouldn't make things better (atleast when the matter is discussed with zeal) for us to keep mum. I couldnt quote in exact translation of the various adages that we have. So where should the line be drawn, when to react and when to be passive? A lot of us are in this state of oxymoron as we are associated with Baba and the outside world. We have seen verbal as well as physical attacks made on Baba/SAM if keeping quite and being patient is the solution then arent we paving way for the scumbags to take advantage over us? I guess only Babs can answer. Just my thoughts... gs/..
