But personally i feel we should send inour opinion on the news item as we would do normailly on any other news item we disagree on. BUT, this item being so close to our heart, i do think we should mail them with our opinions and if possible invite him to our place to see what a difference we have made to the lives of people in vengelleri, thaiyur etc..which even the GOVT. has not done. I am sure everyone would understand an educated comment or opinion. personally I have already sent my opinion to kumudam, which i have pasted below. I think who ever wants to send a mail must do so, NOW. Love badri My response to Kumudam/... Hi, In your recent article, I saw that u had mentioned that a certain person had said that " He was not taking comedy movies " when asked " If the movie was related to Shiva Shankar Baba " . I find this remark absolutely funny and quite upsetting. My first question to the gentleman who made this comment would be " Have You visited his ashram or his Community Living center project in kelambakkam or have u visited any of village development centres? or atleast have u met any of their volunteers? " If u have , then u would know what a difference they make in the lives of people in that village or in all the villages they ever have set foot on. A Single MAN has taken on his shoulders the responsibilities and the work of a GOVT. He has built clinics and hospitals and other education centres, where the poor are educated free of cost and where the poor are treated medically free of cost. If u have not been been to his place, i URGE u to do so. For it is not prudent to comment when u have not seen or experienced it. In my opinion kumudham has been quite irresponsible in not disclaiming such statements made my people. You should have stated that it was HIS opinion and NOT OURS. I find it unfortunate that reputed magazines like yourself are infact spreading such malice about such stalwart personalities. This is my opinion strictly. Gives an insight on the movie making of Baba.The truly disturbing fact for me was mentioning about Siddha yogi Siva Shankar Baba, whom I truly respect for his philosophies and services to the mankind. I strongly object to his name being used in articles totally irrelevant. And spiritualism is no silly joke. Did not expect this from a quality paper like yours. I am sure this article hurt the feelings and beliefs of thousands of people around the world. Please stick to relevant issues and relevant people.
