Guest guest
Aishwarya, Thanks for the link to kumudam feeback on the web. http://www.kumudam.com/servlet/FeedbackEditor I agree with you that we should all do at least this for Baba. Here is the feedback that I sent to them. Respeced Editor, I am writing this to you from Texas, USA. It was very disppointing to find a Quote from an Anonymous source in your reputed magazine tarnishing the image of Sri SivaShankar Baba. He was referred to as a Comedian, but He is infact a beacon of spiritual light for the state of TamilNadu. In my personal opinion he has filled in the Void created by the passing away of the Great Kanchi Paramachariyar. You being a high class magazine have the added responsibility of publishing only articles which are constructive in nature. I strongly encourage your Journalists to visit the Sprawling Ashram of Baba in Kelambaakam and his village development centers in Vengaleri and Thaiyur . This will then help your Magazine to understand the damage that you are potentially causing to a very great social and spiritual movement. ..Thousands of your long time loyal readers like myself also happen to be followers of Siva Shankar Baba's philosophy of " Service to Mankind is Service to God " . We would greatly welcome a Regret notice from Kumudam for the above mentioned unfortunate and unnecessary reference to Sri Sivashankar Baba in the article on the upcoming Rajni Film " Baba " . This will restore the confidence of many tamilians living abroad on the credibility of the Kumudam magazine. Thank You.
Guest guest
Hi All, It is very unfortunate that a popular magazine should publish an article without verfiying the correctness of information gathered. It does hurt our feelings, but at least we all know that the implication against Baba was total farce. There could be somebody out there seeking Baba for spiritual asylum and guidance and it might throw them into utter confusion, so it becomes very important to express our resentment against publishing such articles based on some baseless individual opinions. It will be more effective if our views addressing our grievances are drafted into a single letter and sent to the magazine, signed by one and all instead of sending indvidual letters. This letter can be posted somewhere accessible as a soft copy for everyone to read and sign it. This is in line with what the villagers of Thaiyur have done for Jr. Vikatan. It is also very important to not brood over that incident (even as we go through the resentment letters posted individually) as it would bring only unhappiness and ill-feelings against them which is not good for us. As we all know these are just passing clouds. This is my personal opinion.
