Dear Samratchanites,

 

This is the mail that I sent the editor of the

Kumudham.

 

Respected Editor,

 

SUB: Irrelevant and Irreverent remarks in your article

'BABA SPECIAL'

 

I am regular reader of your magazine.

 

I was very pained and more than a little upset to see

a magazine of your stature stoop to the level of

carrying baseless and damaging comments about a DIVINE

ATHMA such as SRI SRI SRI SIDDHAYOGI SHIVA SHANKAR

BABA that too by a person whose name you are hesitant

to even print. Calling HIM a comedian is utter

blasphemy and I hope you will retract that statement

in your next issue.

 

Besides I also extend an invitation on behalf of all

BABA devotees, infact I exhort you to visit the ashram

at Kelambakkam and Neelangarai. To witness the yeoman

service that BABA is selflessly rendering to the poor

and needy in Thaiyur and Vengaleri villages I suggest

you personally visit these centers.(Better still if

that anonymous person can also accompany you.) I am

sure you will have a change of heart then.

 

When great Mahaans like Kanchi Paramachariyar and Yogi

Ram Surat Kumar have proclaimed BABA as none other

than GOD HIMSELF it does not behove mortals like us to

intentionally defame or ridicule such a great soul.

 

I hope you will safeguard your magazine's reputation

as being truthful and see that such malicious content

does not appear in it hereafter.

 

I am sure BABA Himself would have said " Father,

forgive them, they know not what they are doing " .

But as a devotee I feel it absolutely necessary to

express my sense of outrage at the cheap antics of

your magazine.

 

Journalism is about correcting misrepresented facts

not deliberately misrepresenting facts as you have

done.
