friendship.....

Baba’s speech at Neelangarai on 27th April 2002(a report).

“Today let us take friendship as our topic. All of you may ask is it possible to

have a friendly relationship with God, i.e.; can you take God as your friend?

Yes the relationship as a friend is the best prescribed I can quote you many

cases in the past that whomever has taken God as a friend has thrived very well.

Sundaramurthy Nayanar, he saw Lord Siva as only his friend. The relationship was

so well built. Lord use to instantly grant sundaramurthy nayanar sought.He use

to ask Lord what ever he wanted and all his wishes his personal problem relating

to his wives also, Lord did the pacifying work for his dearest friend.

Taking the case of Mohd Nabi, he saw Allah as a friend. It so happened both of

then hid in a den when people chased Nabi and his associate Abu bucker. The

crowd outside were very strong, Abu bucker told Nabi how it is going to be

possible for us to escape this crowd we are only two. Nabi replied we are three

why you have forgotten our great friend Allah.It so happened Allah made the Den

a dilapidated one with spider web etc., the crowd went away assuming no body

could be inside.

Lord Krishna and Kuchelar relationship was also in the same line. Krishna though

he was in Godly status he moved with Kuchela as a friend. When kuchela came to

see Krishna to cry over his shoulder on being terribly poverty stricken, Krishna

unassumingly asked him what he brought for him; he went to the extent of

searching his baggages for something to eat. This was nothing but pure

exhibition of frienship. As soon as he has little hand full, kuchela became very

rich.

Take the case of normal friendship what Drona chariar had with drupada. When

both were youth Drupada offered 50%of his wealth to Drona. Remembering this when

Drona chariar was in a crisis went to drupada for help. However, Drupada

insulted him further. This prompted Drona to take vengeance on drupada and he

trained Arjuna " .
