Guest guest
hi, Some pages of mahajyothi website couldn't be viewed. One such page is http://www.mahajyothi.org/vidiyal/apr2002-4/02.html. When I look into the html source code, it uses one more tamil font named "Radha Tamil" . Already I have installed TAM_ANIEZHAI font in my machine. How can I get this new font? If anybody could resolve this, it would be helpful for me. Regards Baskar.
Guest guest
Hi Bhaskar, Shankaram Siva Shankaram!!! Well it uses only one font and that is TAM_ANIEZHAI. It is actually converted from Radha Tamil Font to this one through a s/w known as Padami. So there would be some mention about the font surely in the html file. Well now about the problem. I will check this now but changes can be made only after Thursday. This is because the machines holding the sites have gone for maintenance. Kindly bear with me until then. I think this may be a conversion problem. Thank you and hoping to hear from u. Have a nice day. REgards, Venky. PS:- NCS, kindly note this mail.... Guest guest
Shankaram Siva Shankaram !! Hi Venky Check out which of the Radha Tamil fonts is giving that problem - it is possible that maybe a couple of those fonts got left out, since the Padami s/w people custom wrote that conversion for us. Guest guest
hi, Shankaram Siva Shankaram I thank for the devotees to respond for this problem. I have downloaded Radha fonts from the website and installed it . Now I am able to view those pages in tamil font. There is only one small problem that I faced in Radha fonts - few specific letters never got displayed in pages that use this font. (for e.g letters la, ra, na etc. ). Otherwise, I will be able to view the pages in mahajyothi website. With luv, Baskar. Guest guest
Hi NCS / Bhaskar, Shankaram Siva Shankaram!!! Well Bhaskar, good to hear that it is working but I guess that is a round about method to view the pages. It should be done at the conversion stage itself and not like what u did. Anyway, i am expecting the pcs to come today evening or tomorrow. I will try to rectify the same, provided the editorial people in Kelambakkam have the document file so that we can convert them again. Sorry for the delay. Thanx and regards, Venky.
