Update on UK Trip

Hi all,

 

As you must have heard from my mother's mail, we had organised 2 satsang's

in London on the 4th of May - one at London Tamil Sangam and the other at

London Sri Murugan Temple. Both went on very well. We have audio recordings

of the speeches that Babs gave at both places, which we will arrange to

stream when Amma returns to India.

 

On the 5th and 6th we (Amma, Appa, Badri, Sivi & Balu, Aish & Jai

accompanied Babs) went to Isle of Wight, a small, yet beautiful island near

the south coast of England. We will scan and upload the photographs as soon

as possible. Babs also spent a night in Fareham in Sivi & Balu's house.

Unfortunately Prashanth was unable to join us in Isle of Wight for he had a

hectic work schedule.

 

On the 7th (after a hectic nights journey back from the Isle of Wight) Babs

was ready to get involved in some filming. Yes! Through some contacts in the

London Tamil Sangam, we were able to organise TV recordings for Babs on 2

European Tamil Channels - CI TV (which is mainly a French and UK channel)

and Deepam TV, which broadcasts all over Europe. Dr. Jayanthi also helped us

to organise the Deepam TV program, for she gave us the intial contact.

 

CI TV has recorded a 45 minute interview with Babs (in the form of Q & As) and

Deepam TV has recorded a 40 minute speech, which they plan to telecast in 2

episodes. All in all, they went well. We will know the dates and time of

telecast soon, and will post the time as and when I hear about it. We are

trying to get copies of the recording so that they can be screened in

Kelambakkam.

 

Finally Babs returned home for some rest, and left for Switzerland this

morning at 11am. He returns to London on the 12th night. We plan to visit

Ireland on 13th & 14th and He flies to US on the 15th.
