Shankaram Siva Shankaram..

Om Naham Shivayah..

Many of you in the past few days have shared some really wonderful

memories of the most recent trip to the Niagars Falls w/our beloved

Baba. However I wanted to catalog some of my personal experiences

w/Baba (whom I prefer to refer to as my Appa) the ones that I'll

cherish like gems for the rest of my births...

This is certainly not my first trip to the Falls..I have visited the

place several times in the last few years..but none of the prior

visits could hold a candle to this trip..it was unequivocally special

in many aspects the most significant one being able to witness one of

Mother Nature's awe inspiring masterpieces in the presence of my

Divine Father...

Niagara is one of those places that boasts a weather filled w/some

sort of a metronomic regularity-of sun and rain and rain and sun and

shine..especially during this month..infact I must admit I felt a bit

apprehensive when I saw Niagara on Appa's tour map-especially since

the month of May is brutal to tourists..w/all that, what Appa ordered

for us for weather were beautiful, mild and milky afternoons graced

w/a distinctly " Shankara touch " ..a congenial weather that made it

possible for us to amble the streets of the sleepy town w/Him..each

one of us looking at Him in eager anticipation as He spoke and

laughed, for that special smile or a pat or a hug or a glance or a

nod of approval or in some cases even winks!!

Another experience that I thought would be interesting was when we

took a walk down a well engineered wooden structure to a spot where

one was almost at arm's distance from one of the segments of the

Falls. Again for several minutes I stood rooted to the spot

speechless and breathless with my gaze fixed on both the Energies..

Appa and the Mother Nature both right by my side..(although they are

one and he same my limited vision sometimes tends to separate the

two) All of a sudden the place seemed charged w/such intense levels

of energy...energy levels and vibrations that left me w/a new degree

of vitality and charge..I felt like a battery that was being

recharged in this setting.. Appa's presence added new a dimension to

the potential of Mother Nature...a dimension that enhanced the beauty

of the majectic falls by incredible proportions..All I felt like

doing during those blissful moments were to throw up my arms and

surrender to the Divine force realizing how Divinity humbles us..I

stood there for a lomg time w/my eyes transfixed on Appa as He

casually posed for pictures in front of the thundering Falls.. As I

hesitantly walked away from the cascade to make room for the tourists

behind be I caught up w/Appa and managed to mumble the following

words, fighting away my tears " Thank You Dad for helping out Mother

Nature w/this Water Fall Project.. "

In summary this odyssey w/Appa from Boston to Niagara was something

that cannot be me expressed in simple parlance...It was an incredible

experience an experience that left me yearning for His divine

presence in me forever..With that I offer my " Kodi Pranams, sada Kodi

Pranams to my Divine Father the Infinite Consciousness for His

infinite compassion towards this child of His.. "

I love You Father..

Your daughter,

Jayanthi

PS everyone..

It is almost midnight here and please bear w/me because I'm not

planning to run this thru the spell checker..
