Guest guest Posted July 18, 2002 Report Share Posted July 18, 2002 dear friends Here is a beautiful description that comes in the Ramayana .This I have heard in the " ARATTAI ARANGAM " by VISU .This is an example for how much a great Poet Kambar was .All of us know that Shri Rama broke the bow and married Sita .But Kambar describes the same in a very different and devotional way like this : When Rama lifted the bow and make it stand, the lower end of the bow was near Rama's feet .Now the upper end thought " What good had the lower end done so that it has reached Rama's feet so easily. I am very unfortunate by being the upper end and thereby not reaching Rama's feet " .The worry of the upper end made the bow to break so that the upper end also reached Rama's feet .
