I was asked to give a message to youth for a Canadian Based TV (Asian Television Network)Lord Chesterfield while stating about youth says” young leading the young is like blind leading blind resulting in both falling into a ditch”. So as to say that only an elder can lead the youth. Today youths are embedded with abundance IQ, the quantum of knowledge is more that what elders posses today. Though the quantity is there the quality is in want.

Proper guidance to the younger generation from their grand parents is missing today, no morals are taught, no values are taught. Sorry state is coz, today grand parents are either subjected to earn or driven to a state of Old age homes.Children are not able to stand their parents correcting or advising them. they get irritated, this is on account of generation gap.

Teachers are the other aspect, which can bring around the best in students, but what a miserable condition our education system is. Today for an LKG admission one has to pay donation/deposit. Corruption has not left this field untouched teachers who are supposed to bring in morals, culture, has failed badly under circumstances.Taking the media like TV, they take asylum on film today, films are preaching and promoting only violence. The youth takes the leaf out this and they behave like heroes brandishing knives & cycle chains. Newspaper/Magazine has also had a part to play they sell their paper/magazine clamoring film news only. No good thing is even given as footnote in these dailies.

With all this state of ambiguity around, youth today is directionless, 54 years since independence we have become emotionally disturbed. So that is reason Youths have taken to drugs, liquor and other nepharious type of activities.

So what to do???Is there a solotion to it?Yes!! Parents had to spend at least few hours with their kids. Give them secured guidance instead of abusing & taunting them. Give them the required courage to face any eventuality in life. Politician should not use students for their political ends. They should not admit students to their party unless they complete their studies. Other faculties like literary, Art & other media should cooperate and give the best to the society.

On the other hand the youths should also slog, they should not look for only white colored job. Today scenario is very dicey, govt has started giving voluntary retirement and private entrepreneur are firing staffs left, right and center. With all these ,youth has to choose job oriented study, there is no dignity of labour. People who ran for work in Malasia, Singapore, USA have started returning back as preference is being given to people of home soil. No work is demeaning today. When you can compromise doing any work outside your country why not for our country.

Don’t hesitate before it is too late …There is lot of scope,Indians have lot of skills WORK, WORK, WORK relentlessly, youths can make India grow in stature.…Baba.
