I am personally touched by the Mail from NC Sangeetha... Especially for her conviction, faith and total trust in our Baba... Followed by the Mail from Lonnie.... as a response .... I have a long time longing desire to share with you all... As mentioned in the NCS mail ... I quote...the message.... " Understanding that lack of material resources and lack of direction has led people into wrong channels, Samratchana, His center for self-realization offers various facilities to cater to people's needs, to make them healthier, self-sufficient leaders. " I fully agree with NCSangeetha on this point... This being the scenario.... Can we all come forward and take some personal initiative ??? PLEASE... Samratchana Magazine is a wonderful material resource to guide the contemporary world... Please recollect : Baba's Chat on Sify was a Great Success... We as Sify - Got lot of thanking Mails from different parts of the world... Actually - this was a team work of just very few members of our family. With great dedication and pleasure took this assignment and By the Grace of our Lord - did a good job and got personal appreciation from Baba... Now - I request all of you to Pray to Baba - to help us in creating a Team. The Main objective of this Team will be to: " Light the Lamp of Samratchana Magazine in Every House all over the world.. " To achieve this objective this Team will support the The Existing Team which is working for Samratchana Magazine.. The Tasks for this Team primarily will be: Understand from the Existing Team - How can we contribute significantly for our Samratchana Magazine ? Our Contribution can be : 1) Content : Currently By the Grace of Baba - the contents are produced by his Cosmic Plans... Here we from different Parts of the World can come forward in forwarding to Baba.. The latest and appropriate contents to add value to the Magazine... After the approval of Baba - the same will be published... We can understand from the existing team, what additional support they are need of.. what kind of contents they require... If we can collect the same ... Imagine the thrill and excitement .... Happiness for all... 2) Cost : Currently the cost for publishing the magazine will the Printing cost - Pre Press & Post Press.. Paper, Ink, machinery etc... Procuring the materials, inventory, and in despatch of the magazine...etc.. If we can identify Suppliers with better quality @ a cheaper price than the existing suppliers.. This can be a wonderful contribution.. Again we have to get the approval from Baba for the same... We can understand from the existing team - what kind of support we can provide them in cost reduction and we can do the needful. 3) Advertisements: We as a Team can with all our contacts - explain the purpose of the magazine to the advertisers and obtain advertisement revene for the magazine... I am sure we as members of Samratchana Family will only contact appropriate (right product) advertisers for our Magazine... There are 2 kinds of Advertisers : 1) Who understand the Noble purpose of the Magazine and want to be associated with the Divine mission and they advertise in our Magazine.. 2) The other type is one : Who want to know the the number of copies printed and readership details for evaluating the reach of the magazine - only on numbers..... We as a team can identify Both the types and start working with the Grace of God.... As far as the First Type is concerned no problem ... As far as the Second Type is concerned - again no problem - we have to just concentrate on the Circulation Number to progress. Ofcourse - the existing Team can guide us with details 1) of the past advertisers - we can tap them again ... 2) People contacted - to be followed up -- we can do that... 3) Potential prospects identified and yet to be contacted - we can contact them... 4) Any additional guidance from them will shape our thoughts.... 4) Circulation: Let us understand from the existing Team what is the current Print Numbers... How is the Number Growing in the past.... What efforts are being put for the Growth in Circulation of the Magazine.. What are the bottlenecks faced - if any and what are the solutions for the same... This is the " Major portion of my long time Longing " I wanted to be a part of the team in increasing the Circulation .... More than Increasing the Circulation Numbers - My wish and desire is to " Take the message across the oceans to the benefit of all " .... We all can come up with 1 interesting idea to increase circulation: Like: 1) For all my Friends and Relatives ... On their Birthday " As the Best Gift " I have decided to gift them with 1 year Subscription of " Samratchana Magazine " ... Please send your idea - please dont hesitate - you may thing it is funny - But it may do wonders !!! Approval from Baba: Baba is returning from Kailash on 5th of September... Before that - if we can share our ideas on this proposal Keep a presentation ready... few bullet points ... The Members from Chennai and nearby places can represent the international E group On 8th September . We can Request Baba for appoving this Idea.... If our prayers are sincere - I am sure Baba will approve ... and He knows the appropriate time for everything... If the time is right - we are sure to start... ( 8th September is a Sunday and Incidentally is my Birthday I am aspiring to lead a better life than now - let me see !!!) If this is okay for all the members - Kindly share your ideas, feelings, suggestions, criticism, and whatever... But please share your views - even if you dont like this thought.. Thank you NCSangeethaa for your reply. And I would like to also thank those of you who have taken the time to personally email me to share your experiences with Baba. It has been very informative. Baba's devotees are most kind. I have made a decision to accept Baba as my own guru. Where this will take me, I do not know, but at this time in my life I need spiritual guidance. Therefore I shall put my trust in Baba's hands. It feels like the right thing to do. Hopefully some day I will be able to visit Baba. But until then, I trust he will guide me from afar. I think you know that initially I was working towards marketing the magazine, tried to bring it to the market by displaying at some of the book houses but it wasnt very fruitful. We will require some good publicity Though it was lying at the shops not a copy got sold. It was lying at the shop for about 25 days. So we will have to do real hard work for it and also require a strong team, I discontinued with my work only because I could not form a team. We will become a success only if we have a dedicated team. It requires continuity, we cannot do 3 days a week or some such thing. We will require to work at least a few hours everyday. Therefore i request you to take all these things into consideration. This is my personal experience with our magazine marketing. Secondly advertisements, the first thing they ask is the number ciruclated - people these days donot go by nobility factor etc. (such ads come for just 1 monthly issue). First area should be to increase the ciruclation number then ads will automatically come to us. Of course this was my experience seeing how our magazine was received a year and a half back. I am sure baba does not believe in quantity (of magazines circulated) but rather in quality. Even if the magazine can inspire one person to practise good customs and habits that is a considerable achievement. I mean let us not make a business centre hankering for circulation and profits. It is definitely a good thought that baba's words reach the mass but I would only request the magazine team not to go behind mere publicity and bring out articles catering to the mass's tastes.
