Samratchana is vibrant with various projects

beneficial to the world

at

large and, as it is, we are finding it difficult to

match with Baba's

speed.

I think we must focus all the time we have, into

doing whatever

service we

can for Samratchana.

Mahesh's was just an introductory mail to our jobs

group created

exclusively

for Samratchanites.

The idea is to have an organized group for each of

our projects;

otherwise it is possible that an important mail is

missed in the

general

rush of mails.

We have abundant opportunities to be of service to

Samratchana;

Let us stop further discussions on such subjects and

instead focus on

what

we can do for Samratchana.

Here is one way in which each one of us can

contribute.

There are 245 members in our egroup.

Has every one d to Samratchana and

Mahajyothi monthly

magazines?

Annual subscription is just Rs. 60/- for each

magazine in-India and

Rs. 300 per magazine for overseas subscriptions!

Has everyone purchased the new-year release

publications on Baba?

Does everyone have a .com id, the proceeds

of which meet

the

cost

of Samratchana publications?

As Baba says,

'In our personal lives, we must be witnesses;

In God's service, we must be performers.'

Let us start being performers.

Well said! Sangeethaa has raised a very valid point. There is a lot

of work to do at Samratchana. Perhaps it is best accomplished by

defining the scope of the projects and executing it in an organized

manner whenever a need arises.

Our team consists of members from various backgrounds and skillsets.

We can take up an idea, have brainstorming sessions to define the

scope of the project. Come up with a feasibility study and get

approval from Baba. One of us can come with a detailed implementation

plan after doing investigation and gathering feedback and suggestions

from the rest of group members. Then we get approval from Baba again

for implementing it. The lead will take a group of volunteers and

start executing the project.

Fortunately we have for better co-ordination and we can

create as many groups as the projects are.

The group can provide periodic status of the project in the

respective . And they can get timely help and resources

whenever and wherever they are stuck.

We can have multiple projects going on simultaneously and everyone

will have an oppurtunity to contribute in the way they can.

Baba wants us to work in an organized and efficient manner. This is a

privilege that He is giving us, otherwise He could as well contract

it to third party companies. This also gives us an oppurtunity to

show Baba how well we can work as a group.

As He says Devotion is not always thinking about Him, but more

importantly working for Him in the way He wants.

Hospital project is a good starter. We can take up and execute more

and more projects as the time goes.

Regards,

Srinivas.

I think what sangeetha, sai and others have said is a very valid

point.

I would like to add one more thing. It is very easy to perform as an

individual. But it is very difficult to perform as a group. The

problem with performing as a group is we have to be receptive to the

views of other people in the group. This is the most difficult part.

But baba have clearly stated that group performance is the way when

we need to perform complex projects.

Infact in US, as most of you know very well, team performance is

given much more importance that individual performance. When we talk

about teams then comes the question of organisation and structure.

Many of us including me think " why should we ask people in the

group ? Why can't we can't we call up baba and ask him directly what

he thinks on a particular subject ? " Even though this a very good

approach, the point we are missing is we are not only troubling baba

but also prove that we incapable of adjusting ourselves to work as a

group. This is again my personal opinion.

That is why baba has established contact points. It would be nice if

we talk to the contact points and resolve any difference of opinion

between ourselves and come to a consensus before even proceeding to

contacting baba. I think this would make baba even more happy.
