Guest guest Posted June 6, 2003 Report Share Posted June 6, 2003 Dear Hema I did remember this day,a quick recap...it was around 3 pm i noticed smoke in the sky when i was travelling 5 kms away from near Madya Kailash.Some thing in me was telling it is rush up!!i was in a 2 wheeler and reached neelagarai streach to find what what should not have happened had happened.Murali ragavan confirmed this me few kms away.. At the entrance, Baba was trying to send every body out he asked volunteers to clear the crowd which assembled in front of .I made valiant attempt, all of a sudden huge mob of thugs came there asking where is baba?who is baba? Meanwhile baba who knew the ulterior motive of these thugs ordered the closure of the main gates.We volunteers at the main gate could not pacify the crowd,there were armed with oorutokattai,aruval etc.As they could not gain entry inside,further their motive to create confusion inside the premises was foiled by Baba's presence, the frustrated mob started attacking volunteers leaving few bleeding. Any amount of complaint to nearby police station/press proved a futile excercise.Not even a complaint was received.With all these so much of God's property,cash lost,volunteers injured.Baba was cool as ever.We all sat for the harathi and baba made every one to sing Kurai ondrum ellai...That is gods way of taking things in its stride..
