- There is a song: "Azhagenra Solukku Muruga, Undhan Arulanri Ulagilea prul Edhu muruga " Beautiful Muruga was born on this day, on this Vaikaasi month, in Visaagam star. to Shiva & Parvathi. Muruga came in the guise of an old man for valli.

In Sashti kavasam - "Sashtiyai noakka saravana bhavanar, Sishtarukkudhavum senkadhir veloan" .Muruga is our Guru.We are all his disciples. "Guruvaai, Varuvaai, Arulvaai, Kuganea.Naan veru yenaadhirukkum ,Nee veranaa Dhirukkum Bhavatheedham Ellaamara ,enai izhandha nelam ,sollai muruga sura bhoopathiyea". These are the 2 prayers. When we go into the blissful state, to realize that we are not different & muruga is not different.

"Koorum Adiyaargal vinai theerth mugam onru" -Muruga solves the fate of his devotees (adiyaargal).by solving he converts them into his devotees. This is true.How they tie a deer & catch a deer, How they catch fishes using worms ,like that,this Paramaathma -God, keeps these worms called miseries & trouble, what u have in this materialistic world & catches the fish called man. If these so-called troubles had'nt come into your lives, you would not have searched for god at all.

What God does is "Ennai thaduthu adimai kondu, en pazhavinai aruthu, thannai ninainduruga tharuginraai" - God blocks you at the appropriate time & makes you pass your karmas & makes you think of god & love God."Theduvadhu unmaiyenil adhu kidaikum".If your search if true, you will get it."

Once Advaitha Gnana Pagu -Pamban Swamigal had 2 court cases. In that, in one case, if they fine him, he cant pay it.In another case, there was a property dispute. He went to Lord Muruga for these 2 problems.He went to just pray to god, for the problems in his life. First time, when he worshipped Muruga, property dispute case was won in his favour.second case, was there will be penalty on him, if they had to put a hefty fine on him, then he had to only go to jail, since he didnt have the money the pay the fine. so, he went straight to Thiruvannamalai & sat there, then one brahmin wrote a slip & gave to him "Dont worry", the lower court judgment will be in your favour" He didnt ask anyone anything. He just sat & prayed to Lord Muruga.

He was just sitting & thinking of Muruga.then he happily brought the slip & truly ,it happened that way.This way, only, he got faith & involement towards Muruga. He was from Pirappin Valin. He went to the adjacent place called Pamban. & he took permission from a collector & dug a pit in a graveyard.He said that he wanted to sit in that pit & do penance for 48 days , since others should not disturb him, he put a hut on it & kept steps & then in front of everyone, he went inside & sat inside the pit in the graveyard. Everyday, he had a problem, 2nd day, a black cobra was going on him,.3rd day,a munishwaran came & threatened him. 4th day, all the devils stood & danced around him, troubling him.this way, since, being in a graveyard, everyday, he had a different experience. Whenever every problem arose, He used to only shout "MURUGA MURUGA"!! HE WILL ALWAYS BE THINKING OF MURUGA. On the 6th day, he gets a VISION.

Then after 48 days, he came out.

.. So, now, what you see "PAMBAN SWAMIGAL , got Divine Grace like this. So, if there was no problem,like court case, he wouldnt have searched for Muruga. After this, getting Muruga's grace & he would not have come out like this. This is an example to show how God comes on his own & beholds you.

Sometimes, you will be a Muruga devotee,Muruga will make you an instrument & he will get his job done. I will give you an example

..If you dont have faith, even if God comes in front of you, nothing will happen.In this world,Spirituality is the big temple which is based on the foundation of faith. Be loving towards everyone, even ur enemy.Hate the sin,but not the sinner.To be selfless & paient. Only when these qualities grow in us, then the god's quality will keep growing within us. So, these thoughts should come from the heart.To get such thoughts, you should keep thinking of God.

Paadinean Adinean Paravasamaaga, Unnai sindhai seydhu - unn- Nedumaamudi Paadi, aadi verarindhadham Naam " - I am thinking of you, i am singing & dancing your words.I have saved the property called sins in so many births. i have immersed all that.

So, to achieve God,you can sing about God, if you cant sing, you can tell in ur mind.Only for singing, you need a good voice, but u can tell in your mind or you can listen to people singing & talking about God. When you are always in the thoughts of God, god will even come in your dreams & will speak to you. Remember the name of the Lord & Chant the name of the Lord.

God will come in any form and satisfy your wants God will identify a True Devotee who truly cries for God from anywhere. When you merge & become one with God, since God's work has to be done, God will shower love on you & those who are with you. Be wherever you are , If your Love & devotion to God is true, then God will come & will merge with you.God will speak to u in ur dreams.God is present everywhere.

The Rama statue which Thyagaraja Swamy was doing pooja daily, his brother threw it into the water. He felt the Rama statue was a life force & was speaking to it & was doing pooja diligently.But according to Thyagaraja, He thought that Rama was not gone in water, Rama who was having food, betel leaves & who was drinking water at his home, had become angry & went away & told his wife, " I am going in search of Rama" & she asked if she can also come along & so He said . " Rama who went away angry might slightly change his mind & will come back home, then he will see that the house is locked & he will go away.So you open the gates of the house & be waiting for Rama. I will go & will somehow search & bring Rama home. In between, if Rama comes, you please tell him that I have gone in search of you"

So, We have to be like this. Whenever Rama comes,, in whichever form he comes, we should keep the gates of your home & heart open.

God will come in any form & will bless you : In Bhadrachalam, Kabirdasar had a disciple called Gopanna. Gopanna was asking his Guru for Rama's darshan somehow. So, Kabirdasar said "You still dont have the ability yet, you be a little patient. But Gopanna insisted that he wanted Rama's darshan at any cost. So, his Guru guaranteed him . "Tomorrow morning at 11.00a.m, Rama will come to your house & he also told Rama, "My disciple is pleading for your darshan. I have said that you will come to his house at 11.00a,m. Gopanna went around the whole city , announcing that Rama is going to come to his house at 11.00a.m & asked them all to also come & have darshan. He said that " Rama is going to come home & he decorated the house, tied thoranams & served food on the banana leaves & was waiting readily.

Then at 11.00a.m, a buffalo came with body full smeared with mud & it came & kept its mouth on the food kept in the banana leaves & it kicked everything with its leg & it scattered all the vessels & things there. So, the disciple came & told his Guru, " I beleived you & you put a black mark on my face. All the city people came & spat at my face. you said 'Rama will come, only a buffalo came." Then Rama said to Thulasidasar, " I beleived you & went there , see your disciple has hit me on my shoulder.'So, if Rama had come in the form of buffalo, It could come even in the form of Shivashankar Baba. Leaving this, you are still looking for Rama to appear in shell & chakra.This is the foolishness.

Once when Vivekananda was going in the train, he was suffering with hunger for 3 days. When the train stopped at Ayodya, a sweet shop owner came & said "Rama came in my dream & told my child ,Vivekananda has not eaten for 3 days & asked to give food for him" When he told this, Vivekananda said " It's not me". But he insisted that Rama came in his dreams a second time & He gave him puri & sweet & satisfied Vivekananda's hunger.When you are always in the thoughts of God & do service to God, God will come in any form & continue to look after your wants. God will even come & speak to you in your dreams.

Once a Mahaan , Kamaladasar, when he was walking throught the forest,a thief came & asked him "What is the valuable thing that you possess with you"? He thought for a long time.Then the thief said "Okay, I think he doesnt have anything & he felt pity & told him" If you dont have anything, leave it' So Kamaladasar started crying . " The most valuable Treasure I have with me is only GOD.You are asking that from me. I am feeling very upset". So, you also get such feelings & you should develop the ability to surrender yourself to God wholeheartedly & feel that God is everything for you & is the most Precious Treasure.

So, SHIVASHANKAR BABA's message to you is , Be Always in the thoughts of God , doing your wordly responsibilities. Open the gates of your heart & make your heart soft & compassionate, so that God will leave his footprints on your heart. How can God leave his footprints on your heart, when it is hard like a stone ? . Become more loving , caring , affetionate , compassionate towards everyone . Love Everyone & learn to do selfless service ., God will identify a True devotee, when He truly cries for God from anywhere. Be wherever you are , Remember the name of the Lord & Chant the name of the lord.
