Guest guest Posted August 4, 2003 Report Share Posted August 4, 2003 Pournami yagams & poojas ( full moon day) - on 11st Aug 2003 , at kelambakkam Events in August 2003 Aug 1st - Adi puram - birthday of Andal Aug 2nd - Naga Panchami ( worshipping of snake God) , Garuda Panchami( worshipping garuda god) Aug 9th -sat : Pradosham -for shiva - which falls on a saturday is very auspicious- sani pradosham. abhisegams & poojas done for shiva lingams during the time: b/w 4.30p.m to 6.30 p.m ( every month) Aug 15th : Indian Independence Day , & also Ganesha Sankatahara Chaturthi( which comes every month) abhisegams & poojas are done for Lord Ganesha..
