New Visa/Customs changes

FYI. This is the latest as of Oct 12th. 2 of my friends' parents took visa and

went home. So I wanted to share this with all Samratchananites.

Hi All:

 

If you have your parents bringing here or they are already here, this is must

read email for you.

 

It was a shocking news for me that, anyone who travel through UK need a transit

visa, as I came to know the day before night my parents are traveling.

 

Normally as per the new US Visa policies, people on Visitor Visa whose US Visa

got expired could still stay back in United States, until their I-94 expires.

But if the visitors that travel through UK, and got a visa expired, they MUST

NEED to have a Transit visa even they don't stop/get down the plane while

passing through London, UK. People that have valid visa (visa that didn't

expired) could take an exemption till November 12th, 2003. After that everyone

who travel through UK need to have a transit visa.

 

Note: All the above things are according to my knowledge. Please check out

officially, as the information can be obsolete any time.
