Mayamma's Grace , Respect Mahaans- Baba

Learn to respect Mahaans. They live for you. "Yaadhanin Yaadhanin Neengiyaan Noadhal ,Adhanin Adhanin Ilan". Is it a play to renounce everything. To get the freedom like a bird. This is freedom. Mahaans get this freedom. Mahaans is a very big matter.

"Gnani, Gnani, enru sonna paiygal Kodi kodiyea". There are crores of people to call themselves a Gnani. But a true Gnani is one in a crore. That's why, when good Mahaans come, you should never leave them. What Philosophies they used and thought to raise the society and people, we have to involve ourselves in it.

There is a meaning in every act of a Mahaan. People do no understand it. There is no other thought for a Mahaan other than raising people.Have patience and take the time to read this long note.

Let us see the life of one of the Mahaans, Mayamma. In telugu, Mayamama means my mother. One way, she is my mother. I have met her many times. She attained samadhi in 1991. Her samadhi is on the way to Salem. Initially, she was below the chariot in Thanumalaiyamman temple, in Kanyakumari.( southernmost tip of India). She was a normal lady of around 45 years. Since a lady is like that, some people have tried to utilize her in a bad way She was in a very high Spiritual state.

Once a drunken rowdy went near her, under the chariot. When he came out, it seemed as though he was electrified with shock and like a mad man, he just fell down.After that incident , Mayamma changed her appearance to being wrinkled and bony in a ugly look. This way, many have done it.

1. Karaikkaal Ammaiyaar- When her husband asked for the same mango, she got it after praying from God. When she entered her bedroom, her husband said "If I see you, I feel like praying you" Then she felt that if I am not liked by my husband, she changed her appearance in an ugly look.

2. Ovvaiyaar - She was a small girl only. Even then, she changed her appearance to an old woman look with grey hair.

After that incident, people saw her as Kanyakumari goddess. The very first incident which people recognized her powers in Kanyakumari.

Once one dog died. She went somewhere and brought dust, wood, cowdung, paper and she tied the dog with it and sat next to it. After some time, the dog became alright and ran away. Seeing this, people thought that this lady had some great power with her. This is possible.

I have also told about this. In my initial stages, when the powers started to come to me, I have experienced it. After coming back from Thiruvannamalai, I accidently stepped on a cockroach near the door step and it was smashed. I felt very bad that it happened this way, because I was responsible for such a state.

I went to the pooja room and brought some water and vibuthi( sacred ash) and sprayed it on the cockroach and prayed for it. In a few seconds, that cockroach came together and ran away. This is the first experience I got. God would have executed a play in order to be aware of your powers. It happens in a reverse way too.

In Kasi,Ramsuratkumar Swamy ( later known as Visiri Swamigal in Thiruvannamalai) was a school teacher. When he was drying his clothes in the open air, a bird which was flying above died. He cried and prayed to God that the bird should come alive. But, it di not get life. So, he took that bird near the Ganga river shore and buried it and he went straight to Kasi Vishwanathar tempel and cried to God "I'm so sorry that this bird died due to my mistake". That time, a light came and merged with him.

What it means is that there was a God in that bird. This was a test for the powers to reach him. He would have been tested if he really had the compassionate nature and then only, that power merged in him. Many Mahaans were like this. They were never in the human form.

When Mayamma used to walk on the streets, somebody will give her 2 idlis and that shopt will do good business. There will be a hut outside the temple. Till the time, she was there in Kanyakumari, she has never gone into the temple. Nobody has seen that. I have seen her before I came into Spirituality. She will along with dogs. She will not know if her dress is there or not, she will be sitting like a mad woman.

It was Gnanandragiri Swamy who was responsible for people to know her widely. Once, Agsarcem Company director Rajamanickam Nadar went to him. " Did you see Kanyakumari Amma " Swamy asked him. Nadar said " I went inside and saw, Swamy" he said. Swamy said " I didn't tell about the statue. Did you see the one who is sitting outside with dogs! Didn't you see her ?.

Rajamanickam Nadar went again with curiosity and saw her. Then only, she became known widely with people.

What Mayamma will do, she will collec shells, dust, and will put near the centre of 3 rocks. In the evening at 6p.m, she will walk naked into the ocean. After coming back, she will sit on the rock and light a fire yagam and will tell some mantras and sit there. People thought that she was a mad person.

This way, since she didn't have any work, daily she had the practive of collecting all dust and in the evening , she used to bathe in the ocean and then light the fire.

What it means is , it is a kind of yagam (fire). Kumari Goddess who stood and did daily yagam in teh corner of th blue ocean! She was a kind of Avtar.

Coming to Mayamma's roots, once a family who came in a tourist group from Gujarat left her here at Kanyakumari & went away. Then, with much difficulty, she attained high spiritual state. But, nobody knows.

It could be that the energy from the Goddess Kanyakumari temple must have touched her. She was safeguarding this sacred land ( unison of the 3 oceans - Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea and The Indian Ocean) by lighting the fire yagam. Many people didn't understand this.

The whole day, whe will keep crumpling a dirty cloth. People who saw her will think that she is 'mental'. But her thought Sankalpa was that the dirt in the minds of the Indian people should go. This is my intuition, since I have understood the ways of Mahaans. But, people won't know, that they are praying for them only.

There is a lot of Maya in this Kaliyuga. Beyond this, there is pooja going on in temples. People are atleast having little devotion. All this, is due to such noble thoughts and blessings of such Mahaans.

"Nellukku Iraikkaadha Neer, Vaaikaal Vazhiyodu Pullukkum Aangea Pusiyumaam"It means, that the water which flows for the rice and paddy fields also goes for the grass. That way, if a good person is there, then the rain comes for good as well bad people also.

So, Rajamanickam Nadar bought a place for Mayamma. But telling her name, some people used to fool around and cheated. They used to mint money from people who came to take her blessings. It all happened this way. Mayamma didn't like it. That's why, she left this place and went away.

She left Kanyakumari and came to Madurai and even to Chennai. I have gone several tiem to see her. Once in Madurai, when I went and stayed there, an incident happened. In that house, there was a Yantra of Santhana Gopalakrishnan with Krishna in a baby form. Mayamma gave me and said "You take and got" I told that I need only your blessings and gave it back to her.

Mayamma has never spoken much to me. If she saw me, she will keep telling "Ram, Ram". I will tell her "Com, we'll go to Chennai". She will repeat it like a parrot. "Come, we'll got to Chennai". I used to sit on her lap. She used to bless me and she will caress my hair. One way, she is my mother. When she attained samadhi 1991, the day she died, I was in Annanagar Soundarya Colony. I saw her in my home and she gave me darshan. So it means, that she always loved me. She always remembered me and she is always with me.

Near Nagerkoil, they will read Nadi Predictions. It came in that, the complete divine grace of Siddhar Mayamma in Kanyakumari is there in Him. Kanyakumari Goddess in Parashakthi avatar. This is waht the matter I know about Mayamma.

There was a Mahaan called Valiba Swamy ( a Muslim Sufi Saint) in Bangalore, Karnataka State. He went to Mayamma and kept his hand on her head and asked her "Who am I "? Mayamma laughed and said " I am Valiba". The meaning is that if 2 Swamiji's meet in a street, one swamy asks the other swamy, as to who he is. So the other Swamy tells "I know who am I , you tell me who you are "? This is what is Spirituality. "I am you, You am I". There is no other miracle other than this.

Thiruvannamalai Yogi RamsuratKumar Swamy was having a dog with him and named it Sai. He will give biscuits and milk for it. People who saw him thought that he was degrading Sathya Sai Baba. Once a foreign devotee who came from Puttarparthi saw this and told "if I had the money, I will buy a dog and call it "Ramsuratkumar". So the Yogi said " My father will be highly pleased, you better do it".

Only for the human race, these dogs and cats are inferior. But, it is not like that for Mahaans. In this world, everything is Athma. Why can't you think that the God who I pray has come?.Once when i went to America, one old woman came and asked me" Do you pray for pets also"?.

In this world, everyone will come in any form. It is because of people's foolishness and less wisdom that it makes them feel what Mahaans do is wrong.

"There is a meaning in every work and act of a Mahaan. They do it knowingly. You cannot understand Siddhars. You should stop giving advice how Siddhars should behave. Allow Siddhars to guide your life. This is what is my Philosophy.

Learn to respect Mahaans and the ideals they lived for.

THINK GOOD, SEE GOOD, TALK GOOD, DO GOOD. ONLY GOOD WILL COME. SINCE GOOD AND GOD ARE ONE AND THE SAME.
