Events in October 2004=======================Celebration of Dasara from october 14th to October 2310th day Oct 23- is Vijayadashami.

The holy month of fasting and praying for the Muslims, started on October 16-SatIt will continue for one month till the Ramzan festival( Nov 14th or Nov 15 2004)

 

Baba celebrates all religious festivals with the philosophy "Emmadhamum Sammadham""All religions have said the same thing" - "Love is God"There is a mosque in the Ramrajya Colony with a Huge Quran. " From the Hindi song sung by Mahatma Gandhiji- " Raghupathy Raghava Raja Ram, Patheetha Paavan Sita Ram, Eshwar Allah Tero Naam, Sabko Sanmathi Dea Bhagwan"

 

Events in November 2004=======================Nov 8-Mon- Ekadasi

Nov 10-Wed- Pradosham/ Shivarathri ( shiva, monthly)

 

Nov 11- Thur- Deepavali or Diwali - The festival of lights.

Grand celebration all over the country with bursting of crackers and sparkles and fireworks display.with the lighting of lamps outside every home in India. A Grand spectacle and a joyous occassion.

 

Samratchana, Ramrajya , Kelambakkam celebrates Deepawali grandly with a fireworks display etc..

 

Nov 12-Fri- Amavasai- ( No moon day)

Nov 13-Sat-Chandra darshan

 

Nov 13-Fri- ( The day after Deepawali starts the Sashti Viradam for 6 days, culminating on the final Sashti day on the 6th day)( Nov 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 )- Sashti Viradam days- Baba will be on a fast for all the six days.

 

Nov 14- Childrens day ( School holiday for all schools in India)- cultural events in schools.Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's Birthday is celebrated as Childrens day. He was the first Prime Ministe of India.

 

Nov 14- or Nov 15- Ramzan ( depending on the Moon)- Muslim FestivalMuslims feast on this day after one long month of fasting and praying.

Nov 16-Tue- Chaturthi ( monthly, Ganesha)

 

Nov 17-Wed- Sashti ( Muruga)- The rendering of the Kandar Sashti and the Soorasamharam of Demon Soorapadman by Lord Muruga- cultural at Ramrajya

 

Nov 18- Thiruvonam

Nov 19-Thur- Former late Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's Birthday

Nov 22-Mon- Ekadasi

Nov 24-Wed- Pradosham

 

Nov 26- Fri- Kirthigai ( Muruga, monthly) and Paurnami ( Full Moon day)Full Moon day celebration at Samratchana, RamRajya at Kelambakkam with Baba. yagams, Sathyanarayana Pooja, cultural events, Baba's speeches, Food for All and the arthi. Samratchana,

Dec- 11-Sat- Subramanya Bharathiyar's Birthday

 

Dec 13-Mon- Chandra darshan( Moon darshan)

Dec 15-Wed-Thiruvonam and monthly Chathurthi ( for Ganesha)

 

Dec 16-Thur- Start of the month of Tamil month Margazhi ( a month dedicated to Andal- singing Thiruppavai) - till Jan 14- Pongal

Dec 22-Wed- Sri Vaikunta Ekadashi- a day dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara, when the doors of the Lord will be open in the early dawn of the day.

 

Dec 23-Thur- Pradosham( shiva, monthly)

 

Dec 24-Fri- Christmas EveSpecial Midnight Masses will be held in all churches all over the world to glorify the day when Lord Jesus was born.

Midnight mass at the Good Shepherd Church in Samratchana ,Ramrajya with Baba.

Dec 25-Sat- Christmas- Birthday of Lord Jesus Christ.Grand festival with a great decorations and cultural events and carols by the Sushil Hari school children and the Samratchana members.

 

Dec 27-Mon- Arudra darshan( Shiva)

 

Dec 26- Sun- Paurnami- Full Moon day.Paurnami at Samratchana, RamRajya at Kelambakkam with Baba. yagams, Sathyanarayana Pooja, cultural events, Baba's speeches, Food for All and the arthi.

Dec 30-Thur- Sankatahara Chathurthi ( Ganesha, monthly)This comes 3 to 4 days after the Full Moon day.

 

Dec 31st - New Year Eve at Samratchana, Ramrajya Kelambakkam with Baba's speeches, lots & lots of cultural events.

 

Jan 1st - New YearNew Year Celebration at Samratchana, Ramrajya with the congregation of all the Samratchana family members from all parts of the world.Whole day festivities with hordes of cultural events by the Samratchana teams, dance, music , drama........Special Food Feast with different Varieties for all
