Baba Assembly Speech on October 28 2004- Thursday=================================================

Baba addresses the Sushil Hari School Assembly every Thursday mornings at the Auditorium at 8.45/9.00 a.m.

 

Baba Speaking on October 28th 2004:

Baba walking in welcomed them all back to school, speaking in English in his affectionate tone, as they were back after their Dasara holidays for 15 days. Baba asked how they had all spent their holidays and whether they utilised their time effectively in learning new things or a new hobby or playing some sport. He asked them to lift their hands who had spent their time effectively and productively. Few boys lifted their hands and Baba called one of the boys how he had spent his time. He said that he read some books and played some games. Then Baba gave him a Chocolate and commended his efforts and commented that only a few have spent their time effectively.

 

Baba stressed that Time is very precious and you need to utilize your time effectively. He said that you all had wasted so much of free time, which you could have spent it entertainingly and all the more even educatively. He stressed the need for obedience and maintaining a good character and conduct.

 

Baba mentioned that students conduct was noted when they had gone for week for a recent trip. He mentioned about wastage of food and noted that and you need to respect it and never waste it. Baba called upon the students to know the importance of it and of having a good character and be good hereafter.

 

Also, the general behaviour is very important to evolve as a good person. You need to have the ability to help others and be caring towards your teachers and your fellow students.

 

Baba mentioned that the good habits which they enculcate in this young age is very much necessary for the Better future of the individual as he grows up in this society. This brings about better responsible citizens of our country.

 

Baba also mentioned that physical fitness is very much required for younger children. As you start them young, it gives better health as the time passes by through the years.
