KODI MAHAAN attained Samadhi on a Vijayadashami day in October ================================================ Baba has consecrated the idol of Kodi Mahaan on one of top corners of the Poorna Brahmam Perumal temple. Baba remembers and reveres Kodi Mahaan who is with Baba spiritually omnipresent.

Kodi Mahaan lived in Puravipalyam village near Pollachi in Tamil Nadu. He was around 450 years when Baba( Shivashankar) met him during his days in search for God. People called him Kodi Mahaan. Krishnaveni Amma from Podhigai Malai in Kalyana Theertham sent Shivashankar to Kodi Mahaan. When Kodi Swamy saw Shivashankar, He said in Tamil "Crores of people comes to see me, But for me, Grandfather (Thatha)- (referring to Shivashankar) like Mahaan, I feel happy when I see such Siddhars". He called one person who was around him and told him to write these words in a paper "Grand father ( Thatha) Mahaan; In this world who is complete ( Paripooranam); Be Healthy and good in crores of years and do Service for the people" and then He gave that slip to Shivashankar and Blessed Him. Shivashankar stayed with

Kodi Mahaan for some time. Once Kodi Mahaan called him and made Shiva sleep on his cot and engrossed him in deep meditation. Then He gave him his Gulla( pink cap seen in Kodi Mahaan's photo) and his chappals( a kind of kolhapuri chappals- brown) and told him " You go all over the world! The remaining ( Bakki - Sakki) shakthi and energy will come to you and He blessed him. Another time, he commanded him to go to Pazhani ( in Tamil- "Pazhani Poa") - ( one of the six hill abodes of Lord Muruga). When Shiva went to Pazhani Swamy and taking darshan of Pazhani Murugan and when he meditated near the Siddhar Boghar samadhi; Kodi Swamy gave darshan in his body with Nayana Deetchai in a big Golden Lingam and with many different ornamental stones ( navrathnam) - flashing like a Jyothi- light. He saw Shivashankar and said " You are Adi Shankarachari,

Dronachari, Ramakrishna Paramahamsar. In every birth, you came and worshipped me. I am your previous Guru. Once He told, "You are Thothappan. Thatha ( Grand father), You are Kailash, You are Vaikuntham, Can you tell the calculation", He said. "Thatha, you are Kailash. In this world, you are the richest person ( Kodeshwara) Rishi". Many times, hehas given his Divine words. Once when, Shivashankar's Friend- Arumugam went to have a darshan of Kodi Mahaan, He said "Bhagwan is staying in your house. Now, what else suffering do you have?"

Kodi Mahaan has many times given his darshan Spiritually and is always standing in company with Shivashankar. Once he told "I have given you the whole Earth ( Bhoologam) to you, now what balance do you have" He asked.
