Shankaram Siva ShankaramGod is

not an object that can be seen outside. There is no record of anyone seeing

God as an external entity. They have seen Him within only. The reason why

God has not revealed Himself to you, is because you desire to see God outside.

But He is within! The day you stop seeking Him outside, and start knowing and

experiencing Him within, that day you have attained God. As long as you are

seeking outside, you will be only seeking!

 

Ramakrishna

Paramahamsa explains with this anecdote: A thief and a

merchant rested in a motel. While the merchant was fast asleep, the thief, in

his greed to rob the merchant, searched for the merchant's possessions

everywhere - - in the merchant's suitcase, under his pillow and so on. But he

found nothing. When morning dawned, the thief, unable to contain his curiosity

anymore, asked the merchant, 'How did you manage to get into trade without any

cash? I kept searching but found nothing on you.' The merchant laughed and

removed his precious items from the thief's pillowcase saying, 'I kept all my

valuables in your pillowcase and slept peacefully. I was sure you will search

my belongings only and not yours.'

 

This

is true of God. God has hidden Himself within you. You are seeking Him outside.

How will you get Him? God is not outside. Look within, you will obtain Him.

 

If

you hold a paper directly under the Sun, it will not burn. But if you focus the

Sun's rays through a lens on the paper, you can see the paper getting scorched.

If you rub two flint stones together, you can produce fire. Similarly if you focus

all your thoughts and meditate with absolute concentration on God, you can feel

His vibrant Presence in you. Krishna becoming a Complete

Incarnation shows that His Life was fully open from all sides, all Its

dimensions were available to Divine Consciousness.

 

Krishna

chooses to come to complete flowering because it is His Nature. Siva Shankar

Baba is also fully open from all sides and hence His Style of Functioning and

Life Style are that of Krishna - The Absolute.

 

Krishna put up with King Shishupala nine

hundred and ninety nine invectives hurled at him but killed him at the thousand

invective. Krishna killed Shishupala not

because His Patience has come to an end. His Patience is unending. Krishna knew that it is dangerous to put up with

unrighteousness beyond a certain limit. It amounts to encouraging it. A point

comes when we have to stop evil from going too far. Krishna

finds a golden mean between the two extremes - His Own Patience and the

impatience of another.

 

Siva Shankar Baba also has lot of Patience but

has the habit of pretending impatience because a point comes when I have to

stop wrong from going too far. Am

I Right?

 

What

is the Secret of My Success? Such a simple person, who

appears ordinary outwardly, is able to fascinate several thousands of people.

He is able to spread happiness around, does good and inspires people to do good

deeds. Just Love. Why should I do you good? You are related to me by your soul.

All these relations are formed by the soul. That is why people throng to my

presence. This is the secret of my spiritual success. So many people tried to

form a group with the aim of pulling me down. But they were unable to do

anything.

Two

types of people dislike me.

1.

Those in fake spirituality. For these people, spirituality is a means of

getting donations, money. My spirituality is free and open to all.

2.

Those who are in spirituality by tradition. These people are jealous of our

progress.

 

My

concept is -- you who are seated before me are also His creations. Everything

created is a part of the creation. He is the Source of everything. So

in the Ultimate Advaitic Concept, the same Paramaathma is in every living

being. So we feel -- you people will be very tired, you may come from distant

places. When we offer you some paayasam or food, you gain some happiness. When

the sweet or food goes to people who have come from far off, it is almost like

a sudden glass of cold water one gets on a hot summer day. That happiness is

not restricted to a person's tongue or body. It reaches the soul within.

 

This

is the concept of our worship. Except the Soul, everything else in this

world is transitory. The soul is the only Truth, it is the only Permanent

Presence. So your souls gain some happiness from the considerate act of

offering it refreshments. This is the Almighty's happiness. This is the

experience of the Lord.

Learn

to live naturally.

Be

loving towards everyone.

Don't

hate anyone

Conquer

anger.

Religion

is a subject that was formed to elevate you -- it is only a tool.

Learn

to eradicate selfishness from your life.

Learn

to live patiently, be loving.

Respect

your parents. Take care of your brothers and sisters. Let your family members

be whatever they are. Remain good. Don't complain about your family.
