Guest guest
shankaram Shiva Shankaram Spirituality aims at making you experience your Karma in a serene, composed manner. A ‘Mahaan’ can definitely ease the effect of your Karma. But He cannot nullify your miseries. Krishna Paramaathma was always with the Pandavas, yet the Pandavas were flooded with misery. Towards the end of the Mahabharatha war, Bhishma laments, ‘O Pandavas, how much Karma you must have accumulated that makes you suffer so much despite Lord Krishna Himself being by your side!’ Do not fret that your miseries have not ended. A Mahaan can enhance your virtues and reduce your vices but never cancel your sorrows. Why did the Lord have to undergo trials when He incarnated as Rama and Sita? They had already reached the Ultimate. But their physical form still had to undergo some Karma. Otherwise, why did Rama, the son of a King have to lie down on Dharba grass? Why did Harichandra, Nala and Pandavas suffer? All of them had some Karma. Why did Ramana Maharishi suffer from cancer? His physical form had to undergo the remaining Karma. Everyone who is born has to experience Karma to rise above the cycle of births. I do not have any Karma. So I am happy and free from bondage. You can also attain this level. This is ‘Mukthi’ (Liberation). ‘Mukthi’ is not an air-conditioned room in heaven. It is the art of leading life in this world with “no thoughts†to hinder the path. This will happen, only after you undergo all your Karma. This is the concept that Siva Shankar Baba wants to imbibe in you. I am here with you now. So, I can help you clear the debts of your Karma and add to your virtue list. I have the power to do so. I can even ward off your Karmic debts. But it is not worth it. If I discount your Karma in this birth, you will have one more birth and the pending Karma. I may or may not be there with you then. You may or may not come to Me! What is the guarantee? Now that I am here with you, I can help you bear your burden. If I do not, who else will do this for you? By the carried-over virtue of your previous births, you have come to a powerful Mahaan like Me. If you do not have any good left, it will pull you further down, what will you do then? I am here with you now. I can make you undergo your miseries without your knowing the severity of it. You will experience sorrow based on your Karma. For instance, in the Mahabharatha war, when Karna aimed the ‘Naagastra’ arrow at Arjuna, Arjuna’s destiny was to be hit by it. But just at that time, Lord Krishna, Arjuna’s charioteer, lowered the chariot with his toe and the arrow that must have beheaded Arjuna just knocked off his crown. Fate had to be content with this. The saying, (Escape from the loss of the head by a slip of the turban) comes from this incident. When you come to Me with total trust, I will ensure that your miseries do not affect you. A ‘Mahaan’ bears your burden. That is why Jesus Christ states, ‘O come, All ye burdened! I shall offer thee shelter…’ Did Jesus claim to remove the load? All that He offered was repose. What is ‘repose’? An old woman carrying a bundle of dry sticks on her head in the summer heat falls down in fatigue. A passer by unloads the bundle, escorts her to the shade, gets her some cold buttermilk to drink, fans her sweat away, makes her sleep for some time and when she is sufficiently relieved, helps her reload her bundle. He puts the bundle back on her head. He does not carry it for her. He has helped her in need. So also, a ‘Gnaani’ (Mahaan) will be keen to help you undergo your Karma and get you out of the cycle of rebirths. He is not an astrologer to give you shortcut methods that help you temporarily escape from your Karma in this birth but give you future birth cycles with added Karma. No Gnaani will do that. A Gnaani wishes to give you the best of what is available with Him. He is not interested in confusing you further and making you undergo the torture of more births. An old woman was thrashing rice in the patio. A Saivite Saint knocked at her door. In a fit of rage, the woman hit him with her rod. True Saints would accept with gratitude whatever is offered to them. So he ate a grain of rice sticking to the rod after offering it to Lord Shiva. Days rolled by, the woman died. Lord Yama (God of Death) asked Chitragupta to check out her account of good and bad deeds. Chitragupta said, ‘She has not done a single good deed throughout her life. But something good has happened without her knowledge. She had hit a Saint with her rod and the Saint offered a grain sticking on the rod to Shiva. As a consequence, she is eligible to have Dharshan of Lord Shiva for a moment because Shiva owes her.’ Therefore, Lord Yama instructed his deputies to take her to Shiva Loka, allow her to have one-minute Dharshan of Lord Shiva and bring her back to be put in hell. These deputies did not have the right of entry into Shiva Loka so they bade the woman to enter on her own and return in a minute’s time. This woman on entering Shiva Loka was drawn by the Shiva Thandava (Dance of Lord Shiva), the chanting of Vedas, the vibration of the songs and the sathsangs (company of the people in Shiva Loka), that she just ran across to Shiva and sought refuge at His Lotus feet. When there was no sign of the woman returning, Yama’s deputies requested Shiva to send her back saying, ‘Without her knowledge she performed a good deed. Now she refuses to come out.’ Lord Shiva laughed, ‘One who seeks protection at My feet will not suffer from any karma. For what deed do you want to punish her?’ A single grain offered to Lord Shiva can make such miracles happen. The world has so long been under the impression that a person who has renounced the world should wear saffron robes and live a secluded life. I have proved that it is really not necessary to don the robes of a Sanyasi. I mingle as one among you. I love all creatures, yet I have no attachment. I have proved that what counts is purity of heart and not any external affectation. I have been able to conduct this Spiritual mission without expecting anything from anybody, selflessly caring for people, that every single act we do, can be done as a form of penance. Love & Blessings - Baba Chant & be Happy " Shankaram Shiva Shankaram" - I am live witness dear brother's & Sister's Samratanite, Baba was and is with me throughout the difficult times that i have faced.
