" How To Stop It While Having An Attack " .

Heart Palpitation is a fast heart rate. By fast I mean 160-200 beats a min. This

is very un-comfortable, if the patient is experiencing it. One of the ways thats

most effective, without going to the hospital is by doing the following in

correct order:

1. Lay down.

2. Bring your legs to your stomach.

3. Get your left arm around your legs.

4. Get your right hand and block your nose.

5. Pull back.

6. Take a big breath. (while you do step 5.)

7. Push very hard, like your in the toilet. (while you do step 5.)

This should stop the fast heart rate if you do it right and do steps 5,6 & 7

correctly. This works by pushing the heart rate back to normal.

If it doesn't work, dont worry. Try it 3 more times. It has a 50%

chance of working. Most of the time it works though.

One more tip. While your having an attack, make sure every 2-5 mins you take 3

big breaths. Try not to think about it. Because you might find it just goes

away. Try talk to someone its a good way to get your mind off it.

If you keep having repeated attacks. Like 3 times in 3 months, then see your

doctor. The tests they do dont hurt at all. If anything there fun! :)
