Guest guest
This sounded like fun... Be Well, Misty http://www..com ROSE WATER 1) Use two parts rose petals to one part hot water. Liquefy rose petals with hot water in blender, then strain through several thickness of cheesecloth, squeezing out all moisture. 2) Or, place rose petals in an enamel or stainless steel kettle and bruise with a heavy spoon to help bring out the flavor. Add water, and heat to just below the boiling point. Reduce heat to low and simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Strain, bottle, and store in the refrigerator. In the Middle Ages, rose water was used for hand washing at the table, and it has been a favorite ingredient in cosmetics for centuries. It's very refreshing to the skin.
