There are many, many homeopathic remedies that cover anger... These

are some of the top listed remedies...

Aconite- I normally think of this remedy for sudden fear but it is

also strongly indicated under Mind, anger.

Anacardium- Anger, but also normally associated with lack of self

confidence, a feeling of inferiority, and internal conflict.

Arsenicum Alb- Anger with a propensity for being nit picky,

faultfinding, restless, with anxiety, and a strong desire to

control. There is a general aggravation between midnight and 2:00

am.

Aurum Met- I normally think of this remedy for deep profound

depression, even suicidal depression. But with sadness, there can

be the expression of anger.

Bryonia- Gesh, this one is not fun... When one is in this state,

all movement is intolerable for the pain... Even blinking an eye

can cause unbelievable pain. Believe me when I am in this state, I

am not a nice and sweet person. So in a nutshell, irritability from

pain, most likely caused by movement.

Chamomilla- This anger is capricious... Often associated with

children, you hand them what they requested (ie- specific toy, food,

etc.) and they immediately discard it, and cry for something else-

to have the same scenario repeated again...

Cuprum Metallicum- Greatly associated with muscle cramps and cramps

in general. The anger is really interesting in that it almost

expresses as a cramp. No anger for a long, long time, but then when

it does come out it is violent. Anger can also preceed a convulsion.

Hepar Sulphur- I have had occasion to use this with a client that

would become murderously angry and desire to grab a knife and kill

her loved ones. The change she showed after taking the remedy was

astounding. Though she never actually acted on these impulses, I am

sure her family noticed the difference as well.

Ignatia is often times associated with grief- which is sometimes a

thin hair away from the Aurum listed above for depression. But it

too can have anger become a strong element in the symptom picture.

Nat. Mur- This remedy state can be tormented by past hurts and

traumas... Again, it is not surprising, that such thoughts and past

events can lead to great anger...

Nitric Acid- You don't want to upset these people. They are

generally very caustic people by nature but when they feel slighted

they will sit and plan out in methodical detail how they will get

even with you, no matter how long it takes!

Nux Vomica- They can be very irritable, impatient, work driven

people. Often times they will awake between 3:00-5:00am and be

unable to fall back asleep until right before the alarm is set to go

off. When they are trying to fall back asleep they are generally

tormented by the thoughts of all the things they need to do,

generally work related. And considering they don't sleep well, it

makes for great irrability, especially in the morning. (As well as

a strong desire for stimulants.)

Sepia- This is generally thought of as a female remedy, though men

can need it too. Generally the woman is exhausted from overwork and

in turn she becomes cold and distant to her loved ones- yet another

expression of anger. Despite her worn out condition she does

considerably better after much, vigorous exercise.

Staphysagria- This remedy is excellent for those people who have

strongly suppressed their anger. This is typified generally by

women who are so sweet and kind, it almost seems as if they have

never felt anger, or are trying so hard to never, ever let it show.

Some times this can also result in unexpected expressions of anger.

I had a client who would take her retainer out of her mouth and

throw if forcibly across the romm when she was sleeping...
