Guest guest
Hi Darcie... I am not sure I can speak as to why your doctor would do something... Really, they are the only person who can answer that question. My only thought here, is if you are not comfortable asking, give that some reflection... Now, why you would not want to have fluoride introduced is a whole other kettle of fish... In our links section, there is one link to an article about the dangers of flouride. And a quick search of google for " dangers of fluoride " led to many other interesting articles... For example, http://www.ecomall.com/greenshopping/fluoride.htm When you understand fluoride is a poision, plain and simple, and how it leads to the weakening of the skeletal structure of the body, it is no longer in the realm of supposedly " alternative medicine " which many feel can be debated, but instead it places it squarely into the realm of chemistry and science, unfortunately at its worst. But I don't have kids, and whatever decisions I make, they are only for me, and I am prepared to live with the consequences, good or bad... Because I have investigated enough, that I feel certain they will be good... Don't get me wrong, I am more than glad to share whatever it is that I know, but perhaps what you need is to research out to a mother's satisfaction exactly what fluoride is supposed to do, and if it really does it, and if there are side affects, and how severe. And are there other options than fluoride to acheive the same goal- healthy teeth and bones. Become your own empowered expert. Otherwise you will be chasing down other's opinions but never feel 100% confident about what to do... If you don't mind, keep us informed on your " medicine walk " if you do decide to do one, and let us know how it goes...
