Guest guest
I don't know about the others, but Zyprexa? She could end up with a psychotic break if she goes cold turkey. Guest guest
Dear Sandkmoore ????, There have been a lot of messages posted here about these medications and mental illness. There have also been quite a few resources for help, and how to use nutrition, herbs and group support. It would impossible to try and cover all that material again, but I suggest that you do searchs in our archives on the various related subjects. Also, I think your friend will have to be the one learning if she is to get help. I also believe that she would benefit from the support groups for bi- polar, benzo, and ssri groups here on as she may need support to get her through the emotional and mental upheaval that can accompany these drugs and their discontinuance. There are also quite a few links to related resources on our links page. good luck, Frank Gettingwell , sandkmoore@a... wrote: > Dear Groups, I know I have seen a lot of info on Bi Polar here but haven't > paid a lot of attention to it. I have quit cold turkey, and believe me,, that anybody who is on these should NEVER quit cold turkey without a doctor's supervision. I was once told, " go ahead and quit -- you are fine now... " . Then I went into a state I am lucky to have survived.!!! People who take Zyprexa have delusional thinking, and even Schizophrenia! YIKES! Big red flag here. Sorry Anna.
